Maybe the biggest disjoint between textbook human evolution and real data concerns the connection between the base of the skull and bipedal locomotion. A new study in @AmJournalPrimat once again finds that foramen magnum position doesn't predict posture. doi.org/10.1002/ajp.23170

With the sad news that #AAPA2020 has been canceled, BANDIT will be releasing the new website soon with content for early career bioanths on the market and in their pre-tenure positions. Stay tuned!

#AAPA2020 has been canceled. This will have major financial ramifications for the association but it was the right decision to #FlattenTheCurve. Many thanks to the @PhysAnth Exec Comm for their work on really difficult process.
