The most dystopian fitness video on the internet just dropped. ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ’€ Paris is literally burning, protesters are shutting down the streets, and this woman is casually jogging past a burning barricade like itโ€™s a treadmill session. She is literally running through thick black smoke because hitting her daily step count is a higher priority than whatever revolution is happening around her. Pure, unfiltered main character syndrome. The absolute disrespect to the entire riot.

Britain was 91.3% white in 2001.
The Britain I was born into was a stunning success story. Gleaming new infrastructure, net energy exporter, efficient and growing private sector, public sector cut down to size, on the road to a sparkling budget surplus. We really had turned things around from the horror show of the 1970s. It was a remarkable success story. A second coming. New Labour coasted on that for a decade. And ran down the investment. The last new motorways, nuclear power stations, runways, reservoirs - theyโ€™re all from the Long 90s. And all weโ€™ve done since then is squander that inheritance, instead of build on it.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท A woman confronting rioters over vandalism was attacked by a young man who blasted flames from an aerosol can directly at her face in Marseille, France, on October 1. The incident occurred amid violent unrest and school blockades across the city.

To generate ยฃ90 billion in tax revenue, you would need an additional ยฃ225 billion of GDP. So this MP is saying that UK GDP would have been roughly 8% higher, right now, if it wasn't for Brexit. Which is economically illiterate and verging on the moronic.
Brexit cost an estimated ยฃ90 billion in lost tax revenue in 2025 alone. That money could have eased the tax burden on working people and funded our NHS and public services. I welcome the Prime Ministerโ€™s opening to Europe, but he must go further. Rejoining the single market and a customs union would bring growth and prosperity back to Britain. With war in Europe and an unpredictable White House, our security also depends on standing with our closest neighbours - cross-border problems need cross-border solutions.

Pope needs to pick up a Bible. โ€œFor rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.โ€

Jesus Christ! Labour claimed they inherited a ยฃ22bn black hole from the Tories! Two years later, after raising taxes by around ยฃ50โ€“66bn (the biggest tax-raising start to a parliament on record), the IFS now says Healey faces a potential ยฃ35bn hole in his first Budget. Thatโ€™s some achievement even for Labour!

Nigel Farage said mass deportations are an impossibility, Rupert Lowe said millions will go. Nigel Farage says you cant fight islam because we will lose, Rupert Lowe said he will end political Islam. Nigel Farage supports sending British troops tp the front lines of Ukraine, Rupert Lowe is against foreign wars. Nigel Farage doesn't want to introduce the death penalty, Rupert Lowe will hang Axel Rudakabana, and many people like him, publicly. Nigel Farage and Reform UK are under MULTIPLE investigations into their dodgy finances, Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain aren't. Nigel Farage thinks anyone can be British, Rupert Lowe doesn't. Reform UK have foreign lobbyist groups such as Reform friends of Isrsel, Restore Britain doesn't. These are two inherently different parties so for you to say "splitting the vote" is a false statement. I know who I'm voting for, and it's Restore Britain.

From a Facebook Group, Yorkshire Humour. โš ๏ธ A Sheffield man has praised Andy Burnham's new Google Maps fuel price feature after managing to save a whopping ยฃ1.60 on a tank of petrol! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ 33 year old Phillip Patel spotted a petrol station selling fuel 4p a litre cheaper than his local garage and immediately made the 3 mile journey to fill up his tank! After completing the 6 mile round trip, the delighted motorist worked out that he'd spent 95p on petrol getting there and back, leaving him with a net saving of 65p! ๐Ÿฅ‚ To celebrate his newfound wealth, Phil treated himself to a Freddo bar. A luxury purchase he admits he probably wouldn't have made had it not been for the Fuel Map.

I've spent 30 years in corporate culture to realized one thing: only white management hires based on merit. Once you give hiring control to a "minority", they will only hire "their own". Look at any team's manager that has hiring power, and I bet the 90% of team members look just like him/her.

Yes. On August 24, 2001, during a fire evacuation at the Tennessee Prison for Women, Christa Pike used a shoestring to strangle fellow inmate Patricia Jones (serving life for murder), nearly killing her and leaving her unconscious. Pike was convicted of attempted first-degree murder in 2004 and received an additional 25-year sentence. She claimed she acted to protect another inmate.

Get this. ๐Ÿคฃ Four years ago, The Guardian claimed that Spain and Portugal are becoming too dry thanks to anthropogenic climate change. However, after the devastating floods in fall 2024, The Guardian said that Spain is becoming too wet because of climate change. The observational data, however, tell a different story. A recent study published in Nature in March 2025 analyzed long-term rainfall data in the Mediterranean and found that no statistically significant long-term trends exist in the whole. โ€ ๐Ÿ”— nature.com/articles/s41586-0โ€ฆ Interestingly, in Spain, there has been little trend in rainfall since 1871. However, if the analysis starts in 1951, there is a significant decrease (p <0.05), while starting in 1981 yields a statistically significant increase (p <0.05). This just goes to show that people (like the writers at The Guardian) can manipulate data to get a desired trend to suit a specific narrative.
