Incredible. Want to break away from Canada? You’re entitled to that position. Want to court a foreign country’s interference in your enterprise? Treasonous.

A total indictment of #FirstPastThePost. #cdnpoli
The splits are going to be crazy. Hard to predict the outcome with so many weird races.

Would seem to contradict PSPP's statement yesterday: «Il y a une manœuvre que je veux nommer, celle d’essayer de me coller à l’administration Trump, alors que vous savez qu’ils n’ont pas eu de rencontre, qu’on n’a pas eu de démarche»

We tend to assume referendums (this is really a plebiscite) have legitimacy (what is wrong with consulting the people?). This one really does not: it is about undermining our sovereignty and our democracy. It should never have been called. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…

Ouch. @PierrePoilievre absolutely crushed by this response. How many years as an MP and now leader and he still can’t hire staff to help him craft intelligent messaging.
As an Alberta MP you should probably know we are the only G7 country without a strategic oil reserve because we are the only G7 nation that is a net exporter of crude. National strategic reserves are maintained to meet an obligation to the IEA to hold 90 days of net imports on hand. That obligation for Canada is zero barrels. There is ~95 million barrels of private storage in Canada. Strategic reserves protect importers from supply disruption, not cost. Product released from reserves still generally enters the market at the global price. To truly get the price down, we need to resolve global challenges with supply and refining capacity. We’re keeping prices down in Canada by pausing the excise tax on gas, giving a groceries and essentials benefit to those who need it most, and working with provinces and companies to increase global supply, alleviating upward pressure.

We’re officially a month away from the midterms. Now’s the time for Trump to get out around the country & campaign for Republicans in close races. I suggest he go to TX, OH, MI, GA, NC, SC, ME, IA, AK, KS, MS, & MN. I’m sure this will give voters the boost they need to make the right decision when they cast their ballots.

Nova Scotia has the second lowest median income of all of the provinces and territories, at $62,900. So how can @TimHoustonNS and @JohnLohrPC possibly justify the country's highest fee for #ElectricVehicles? @CCPANS @ChenderClaudia @NSNDP @EcologyAction @CTVSteveMurphy

Albertans are finally figuring out what happens when you elect a radio #ShockJock as your premier. DanielleSmith is the Howard Stern of Canadian politics. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? #ableg #ucp #Referendumb #CenturionProject #TakeBackAlberta
Wow. She's finally starting to unite the province.

Nine days before the referendum, Danielle Smith will be sharing a stage with two known separatists and someone who calls Indigenous deaths in residential schools a hoax. When someone shows you who they really are, believe them.

"The change that they didn’t make is to take the minister’s office out of selection process,” Prof. Thomas Klassen. That decision is a “huge disappointment,” said @ScottKatherineJ, senior researcher at @ccpa (Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives). #FordNation #PCPork #CCPA
