Here's a pictorial thread of businesses run by the Pakistani military. Please note that this is my way of appreciating out armed forces, who have been able to run multiple businesses so effectively.

Faheem Ashraf is one player who somehow escapes criticism whenever we talk about seniors not delivering. He has been playing international cricket for 10 years now, and honestly, there is very little to show for it. It’s about time we acknowledge that Despite the investment and backing he has received over the years, his overall output has been mediocre.
A batting average of 14.6 in a career spanning over 9 years, along with 33 wickets in 42 innings at an average above 44 is not what you expect from an all-rounder. He has only one score above 37 in ODIs. Faheem remains a curious case: lots of backing, but very little output.

Naseem hasn't developed a wobble or a potent inswinger. Off late he has lost control in order to bring it back in.

Idk why Hesson doesn't trust Ahmed Daniyal. Much better than Faheem. If not him, I would rather have Razaullah play. At least he brings a different challenge and can take wickets. If he is being too expensive, you can always fill in his overs with your 6th bowler (Saim).

Naseem and Shaheen’s lack of control is quite shocking tbh. These guys have been regulars for 6+ years now. In decent bowling condition they still haven’t found any sort of consistency. Better teams will thrash them around

Faheem averages 14 with the bat, 45 with the bowl in ODIs 🤡

The team playing today looks quite balanced, especially with WC27 in mind in South Africa. Saim will eventually come back in form, hoping for the same for Babar.

Its crazy how articulate Altaf Hussain used to be before he got radicalized and alcoholic

Jinnah himself was once called ambassador of Hindu Muslims unity. Even he almost agreed to the consideration model. But the brief Congress govt showed them how Hindu majority will bulldoze them. No one puts the bet on 100 years population forecast. That can be managed by a forced population control law like they managed our agricultural land and now the Waqf
Partition was arguably a poor long term move for the Muslims of the subcontinent. If you look at current births, what are now Pakistan and Bangladesh would be very signficant blocks in a united India. Also consider that Muslim birthrates are higher than Hindu in modern India itself. 25%+ of those births in UP and Bihar are likely to Muslims. Over the long term, Muslims had a real shot at becoming at least co-equal if not dominant in a united sub-continent.

If a US politician made fun of Jewish people like this it would be the end of their careers. But Islamophobia is totally fine and normalized.
Trump: "You have Mohammed, Mohammed, Mohammed, Mohammed, Mohammed. Everybody is basically. If you're in doubt about somebody's name from the Middle East, just say 'Mohammed.' You have about a 65% chance."

𝐀𝐧 𝐎𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬” 𝐍𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐛 Today marks the 75th martyrdom anniversary of Quaid-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan. Despite leaving behind vast estates in Muzaffarnagar and Haryana (then East Punjab), he never filed for the refugee compensation he was lawfully entitled to after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Brigadier Noor Hussain, Quaid’s last ADC, recounted that on Eid in 1950, Governor-General Khawaja Nazimuddin hosted Liaquat, Ra’ana Liaquat, and Fatima Jinnah for lunch. During the meal, Ra’ana remarked that if anything happened to her husband, she and her sons would be homeless. Liaquat replied, “𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐝. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞.” Within a year, he was martyred by an Afghan who was living under asylum in Pakistan. As he fell, Liaquat recited the Kalima and uttered his final words: “Allah Pakistan ko apni amaan main rakhay” – May God protect Pakistan.

Why would the establishment push for Karachi sooba if they wanted to keep PPP in power here in the first place ? and besides MQM has more MPA seats not PPP. Mayors/CMs come and go but provincial boundaries stay. Karachi would have a larger allocation to it's budget because of NFC and a bureaucracy that is local. Please don't comment on my city's issues if you lack basic understanding of them.
Can anyone explain how and why Mayor Murtaza Wahab is bad but CM Murtaza Wahab would be good for Karachi? Thanks
