It’s genuinely hysterical how the only reason LeBron isn’t universally recognized as a “killer” is because he doesn’t bite his jersey, publicly berate his teammates, and always take heavily contested midrange pull-ups at the end of games.
In reality, he’s more basketball obsessed than anyone’s who’s ever lived.

How elite he was as a defender doesn’t get talked about enough 🔒

The cumulative data shows the midrange shot is a poor shot. However, most teams have one player, and some have a couple, who shoot elite percentages from midrange. For a coach to take away the midrange shot from a high-level scorer who has proved to be efficient is just silly.
*Pay your mortgage in the paint and from 3.
*Make your car payment with the midrange.

Since MLB went to the current playoff format, the team that wins game one of a Wild Cars series is 15-1. The Cubs really thought Matthew Boyd was the best option to win game one #cubs

If your college degree doesn’t have enough value for you to pay it off, it surely doesn’t have enough value for taxpayers to pay it off.
Cam Young, JT, Gotterup, Koivun, Scottie, Cantlay. Give me all of them for the Ryder Cup. Could really go without Burns, Henley, and Morikawa playing their way onto the team.

Jackson Koivun, who's only 21 years old, just beat the International team's best player in Sunday Singles at the Presidents Cup.
Koivun was playing college golf three months ago. Bright, bright future

“This is a must make for Sam Burns”
You know you’re about to see the worst putt you’ve ever seen
Brady Frericks retweeted
The gap between Burns’ putting stats and the confidence you feel that he’s going to make it in a big spot is enormous.
I never want to hear that we have to have Sam Burns on these teams because he’s the best putter in the world ever again.

You know what they say ... It's best to go into the playoffs ice cold after traveling across the country twice, playing a doubleheader, and having your Game 1 starter dealing with shoulder soreness.

Wow, I had no idea this was controversial, but looking at the comments.....
Lots of club coaches wanting their teams to trump high school teams.
Is this really where we're at in high school sports?
Because high school should trump club.
Period.
I have apparently developed another controversial coaching opinion.
If you join the cross country team, the cross country meets are mandatory.
I know.
Pretty extreme stuff.
And if there is a club soccer game scheduled at the same time, we are still going to expect you to be at the XC meet.
Apparently this requires explanation now.
What surprises me more is the outrage this generates.
"You mean they HAVE to go?"
Yes.
That's how being on a team works.
We practice so we can compete.
The meets aren't optional bonus content you unlock if nothing better shows up on the family calendar.
I didn't realize "athletes are expected to attend competitions" had become one of my hottest coaching takes.
But here we are.
