The Midway Men’s Club is one of those State Fair institutions I’d hate to see disappear.
The food is good, the prices are some of the fairest on the Fairgrounds, and it still feels like a real community gathering place in a way that’s getting harder to find.
Even better, the money they raise goes right back into Ramsey County, with tens of thousands of dollars donated each year to youth programs and local initiatives.
Good food. Fair prices. Real community impact.
Places like this are part of what makes the @mnstatefair special. I really hope we’re still talking about the Midway Men’s Club for years to come.

Tom Emmer has a new video on his official Facebook page where he talks about the job of House Majority Whip.
In it, he never says the words “my district” or “Minnesota” — or discusses what him being the Whip has done for us here at home in the Sixth District.
Because the answer is “nothing.”
Tom Emmer being the Whip has been good for one person: Tom Emmer. Not us.
Gas and groceries prices are rising.
Health insurance is still too expensive.
Tariffs are hammering farmers.
The voters of the Sixth District need to see and hear more from our Member of Congress than “look how important I am!”

I was grocery shopping. And Rep. Betty McCollum was right behind in the check out line. 1. She has my vote because she shopped alone (no aides) and she shopped Union (Kowalski's), and she didn't shy away from criticism (did I spell that right?)

With President Trump allowing the market to import beef, it is now time to pass COOL. COOL is simply Country Of Origin Labeling. Consumers have the right to know where the product is from. Also, chew on this, less than 2 percent of imported food is inspected by the USDA.
Let me remind you who killed exports of MN corn, soy beans, wheat, turkey, pork and beef and defunded rural hospitals, nursing homes and pharmacies. It was GOP @realDonaldTrump supported by @GOPMajorityWhip, @RepFinstad, @RepPeteStauber and @RepFischbach . Your people!
