B2C businesses are so exhaustingly hard, I can feel it in my shoulders. Consumers are, at all times, interacting with only the most world class brands out there. You're fighting with Starbucks, Nike, Apple for a share of their love. Even at a small scale, you need to produce exceptionally high quality offerings The delta between the skills and relentlessness of someone who's worked on a successful B2C product vs a failed B2C product is massive. Top 0.1% of B2C builders probably create >99% of value. Most people's will dies and they shift towards B2B. Some antifragile beasts keep accumulating Ls till they finally level up their relentlessness to produce a smol W. On Instagram, there are tons of channels that breakdown 2 comparable reels with similar hook / setup but small detail changes result in millions more in views. My respect for people who have built > 1 B2C business is massive. They didn't just get lucky. I don't know what exactly is my point. I guess I'm trying to reassure myself that it is hard, very hard. And that I shouldn't give up just because I failed the first few times. I hope I return to this tweet someday and smile.

People change behaviour with the existing solution is pushing them away and the new solution is pulling them in. People won't switch away from defaults just because the ai agent is better. Being better is necessary, not sufficient.
a surprising amount of consumer finance works because people don't optimise everything > cash sits in low-yield accounts > subscriptions don't get cancelled > rewards expire > better rates go unnoticed now imagine an ai agent whose entire job is to ensure your money is optimised.

Navigating a hierarchical menu is really hard for situations where you have smaller working memory
every app is being CHAT-ified.

Power of Attorney... But for my AI Agent
The whole damn web/mobile experience has to be re-thought for AI agents. Every login and transaction is secured to ensure someone other than me can't do it. And today, I exactly want someone else (the agent) to do it for me. Logging/Transacting via agents right now is frustrating.

Few people realise this Company's growth rate and profit margins determine how fat your paycheque is The same person with the same skills working in Domain A Company A makes 20L Domain B Company B makes 50L
sorry for the rant now that iโ€™m looking at the companies i wanna work for, they all seem to be in the US they're happy to hire, mm but the visa process from this side is long, and the uncertainty of whats gonna happen blocks so many opportunities for us in general and even when they open remote roles in india they seem to be only forward deployed engineers and sales/gtm those roles have always existed you need those profiles whenever you're entering a new market but product, engineering and the core work are still happening there. i just feel like we all miss out on a lot

Early in my career, I worked with a Chinese intern who did 2x my work, better She was on her 5th internship (common in ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ) while I was on my 1st job. She was better than me in every work-skill dimension: time management, note taking, prioritisation etc I was mediocre, forced to improve
India does not have an unemployment problem. India has a mediocrity problem. Every founder I know is always hiring. Always. There is not a single business owner in my circle who is not actively looking for good people right now. What they are frustrated with is not a lack of candidates. It is mediocre applications. Mediocre interviews. Mediocre work. The jobs exist. The standards to get them are not being met. That is a very different problem. And it needs a very different conversation.

GenZs across the world have learnt how to protest. Wait for 5 years and they'll protest unemployment harder than any generation before. Youth unemployment is infestation of the mind. Parties that offer job centric policies will rise to power.

Buying inference today means picking between two bad options. Commit for a year and pay for capacity you don't use. Or go serverless and get rate limited the moment you grow. But usage arrives in bursts: a weekend eval, a two-week backfill, US business hours. And not all tokens are equal. You might need BF16, not quietly quantized FP8. Served in the US. A latency target. Zero retention. Fast tokens for your product, cheap batched tokens for the rest. The capacity exists. It's just scattered across big clouds and long-tail providers you've never heard of. So we built a marketplace. Introducing the @useRouterPlus managed inference marketplace. Post the inference you need, when you need them. Commitment you are comfortable with. Providers bid. You pick the one that meets your spec. we're already on track for 1 trillion tokens a month. routerplus.com/capacity
