THIS is the most important problem for the US to solve. It may require expanding SCOTUS to break free of money and corruption in politics.
🚨The Supreme Court may be on the verge of further legalizing corruption & expanding Citizens United - thanks to two schemes, including one hatched by @JDVance.
@LeverNews worked with @RBReich & @IMCivicAction on this report exposing the plot.
Watch & pass it on👇

Imagine if tobacco companies picked which cigarettes the FDA could inspect.
Or Wall Street told the SEC which trades to investigate.
You’d call that an obvious conflict of interest. Right?
So why are we letting the world’s biggest AI companies help write their own rules?

A brief review of recent technical “errors” at Meta:
1. Restricting the Facebook pages of Brazilian president Lula who is in a runoff election against a Trump-favored candidate
2. Shutting down the pages of Albanians protesting Jared Kushner’s plans to build a luxury resort in the country
3. Rejecting ads for a documentary critical of Elon Musk
4. Shutting down the No Kings instagram page in the middle of a major anti-Trump protest

President Donald Trump has no legitimate grounds to order the seizure of ballots or voting machines during this year’s midterm elections.

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed tells @MikeTobinFox that his sister-in-law was on a federal terror watchlist years ago, saying she sued and was subsequently removed.
EL-SAYED: "She did nothing wrong and was captured on that and then sued and got off. So the idea that you can be placed on something like that, because of exactly the infrastructure that Mike Rogers and his Flock camera and his Patriot Act and his surveillance state can do is exactly the point. So she sued. And what happened afterwards? You know what happened, right? She was removed... You've got this system where folks are guilty until proven innocent because they've got different kinds of names, because of the infrastructure that people like Mike Rogers set up..."

Government lawyers just said there "is not a contract" with Tom Fazio or his company to redesign the golf course.
Trump posted yesterday that Fazio will begin redesigning the course on Nov. 15
New: Trump says that East Potomac Golf Course will close on Nov 15 for the redesign by Tom Fazio.
“Restoration work will begin on the Fazio Design on November 15th, when the old Course will be closed to play. The new Course will be opened in approximately 15 months.”
This comes as there is a heated legal dispute right now about whether the government can redesign the course.

Hmm...Here’s a better idea.
If Bernie’s 5% billionaire wealth tax passed:
-Musk would owe $46 billion in taxes
-Every working family of 4 would get $12,000
-Childcare would be universal for every kid
And Musk would be worth $874 billion - more than he had on September 2, 2026.

The administration is reportedly preparing to hire private debt collectors to go after the nearly 10 million Americans in default on their federal student loans.
Once again, they throw the rulebook at low-income Americans while letting grift and corruption fly for the well-connected.

Imagine if in 1943 FDR had decided that the US would stop helping Britain and instead would side with the Third Reich. That's a bit like what President Trump is now doing by cozying up to Russia as it tries to destroy Ukraine. Utterly shameful. A humiliating moment for the US.

UnitedHealth used their profits to pay out $11.2 billion directly to its investors during the first 9 months of 2026. This was split between $5 billion spent on stock buybacks to boost their value and $6.2 billion paid out as cash dividends.
What does it say about our nation's healthcare system that a handful of bigwigs and predatory middlemen can extract over $10 billion in under a year and pocket it for their own private profits? How many claims were denied to make that possible? How many innocent Americans had to suffer?
These massive profits rely on automated claim denials or strict prior authorization rules, which delay and block medically necessary treatment. How many vulnerable patients were subjected to emotional and financial stress in their time of need so UnitedHealth can make these profits?
Taking billions of dollars out of our healthcare system and funneling it to wealthy investors is a cruel and immoral heist. They are stealing essential resources away from places where that money is needed most like direct clinical care, patient access, and lowering out-of-pocket costs for patients.
Maximizing returns as a health insurer means generating worse patient outcomes. Americans are suffering and dying in preventable ways to make a few people richer. This is some serial killer shit. It doesn't have to be this way.

To name just one: the 5% billionaire wealth tax introduced in Congress by Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Ro Khanna.
This would still be small relative to your wealth, and yet would generate more than $4.4 trillion in revenue over the next decade.
That would make a real difference to the lives of the American people. Owning 1 share in @SpaceX won’t.
