What all these "executives" have in common is that they see the Disney brand as just movies. And anything that isn't that is just a billboard to promote said movies
There is no better example of this than Epcot because it is one of the most "uniquely Disney" things ever created.
Bro wanted Epcot to be Toontown
This is why I give zero F sympathy for him

The Beatles are fascinating because like, obviously you don't HAVE to like their music, it's subjective just like any other art. But almost every time someone tries to argue why they're overrated they always have objectively wrong reasons to dislike them.
*deep inhale*
Guys, it’s The Beatles.
Formulaic music that got hyped into genius status by a perfect storm of timing and savvy media, not actual skill. Expert exploitation of trends already pioneered by others.
They’re a marketing phenomenon that got called the greatest because they sold a lot of records to herd-mentality teenagers, not because the music itself was ever the most advanced, demanding, or enduring rock ever made.
While Men in Black is my favorite ride at Universal Florida, I'd love to see the return of the outside Universe And You loop..
It currently plays a 2 minute loop of Will Smith's song, which is far worse
During the mid 2010s, Chester & Hester's Dino Rama featured DinoLand Dance-A-Palooza, where many characters would come out and have some fun
Although for a very limited time.. Frontierland used to share Princess and the Frog with Splash Mountain
Disney did a very poor job at hiding Cranium Command in 2007 when Wonders of Life 'reopened' as Festival Center
The facade was stripped but partially reused and only curtains 'covered' the queue

I got notified of this, and it stings to hear. Kathy Mangum often described Splash Mountain as one of the best rides and said it was the most popular attraction. It is gross to hear her say she was uncomfortable by JD Hall, an African American actor, doing the voice for Brer Fox.
Building Disneyland’s Splash Mountain was a ‘horrible idea,’ Imagineer says

Basing Splash Mountain on SotS was a peculiar decision for sure, but in the end, it was a decision that, against all odds, paid off tremendously, as it became one of the most iconic and beloved rides in the world.
Calling it a "bad" decision is pure revisionist bullshit.

Also, what a profoundly disgusting thing for Magnum to say about a black actor. Does she know JD Hall was so proud of his work on Brer Fox and Splash Mountain that he shared it on a game show in 2021/22? However bad it might be at Disney, WDI is better off without Magnum & Weiss
Clearly she didn’t think so 20 years ago as evident in this video. But maybe she thinks Disney will hire her again is she plays the revisionist game.

Akbar's Adventure Tours was open at Busch Gardens from 1998 to 2007. It used the same motion simulator technology as Star Tours, and was located in Egypt.
I'd MUCH RATHER have this than the stupid & ugly permeant haunted house building
