This is a "mega-thread" with every post I have made about the African American history related to Splash Mountain, the Brer Rabbit stories, and Song of the South! Please consider reading when you get the chance
Another update with some great news, this account with be fully returning in January 2027! I am planning on posting several times a week, with plenty of information about Splash Mountain and its characters! See you all then

I got notified of this, and it stings to hear. Kathy Mangum often described Splash Mountain as one of the best rides and said it was the most popular attraction. It is gross to hear her say she was uncomfortable by JD Hall, an African American actor, doing the voice for Brer Fox.
Building Disneyland’s Splash Mountain was a ‘horrible idea,’ Imagineer says

I want to give another update on when this account will return, and unfortunately it will not be soon. I will be on hiatus for the time being. The most important history behind Splash Mountain is in the pinned thread. I will return eventually, just not now.
Disney has been implementing generative AI into their products since 2023, with it primarily being related to their parks. They confirmed that use AI for concept art, prototyping for future attractions, and coming up with ideas.
This is just the tip of the iceberg as well, Disney is one of the most pro AI companies in the world at the moment, yet nobody cares.
It is really funny that a White man is calling me, a progressive Black woman, a "white supremacist" for talking about African American history. His entire thread is just saying that I am wrong without providing evidence, meanwhile I have researched this topic for years. Losers.
Not to mention Ryan is actively hiding replies, and the people retweeting his post have compared Splash Mountain fans to the KKK before. These people are unserious and do not deserve to control the narrative regarding African American history.
I should probably give an update on why I have not posted in a while. It is for a few reasons. I have been fed up with the Disney community for ages, and seeing them brush over the fact Disney admitted they use generative AI within Imagineering made me really upset. (1/3)
Another reason is that I feel as if I need a break from Twitter, there is so much toxicity on this platform that I lose the passion to share information. I should be back to my regular posting by October, I only briefly returned today to defend my friends and myself. (2/3)
