Yesterday, the bylaw prohibiting shelter in Stadacona Park was passed and went into effect. We are now winding up this Twitter account. We would like to thank all of our supporters and even some of our detractors with whom we found common ground along the way. 1/2

@CityOfVictoria has an accurate daily count for all parks and streets
The Bylaw Supervisors carry a laptop which records GPS location, photos, and names of individuals
@SeeSpringVic additionally has detailed personal files for every homeless person throughout Victoria

It's a shame that Arbutus Dr. in the park isn't open to the horses carriages and the rest of us, though I did see a horse carriage using the new "horse carriage" lane on Michigan St., lol.

This is what The Trust was designed to do. A family oasis in our city. No thanks to @Dave_Eby, #helps and @GraceALore. Who through their insufferable ideology almost destroyed our Park. @BeaconSave

Sheltering off limits in Beacon Hill, Central Park, and Stadacona could be next timescolonist.com/local-news…

The Mobile Youth Services Team (MYST) was instrumental in protecting children at encampments.
Minors were sexually exploited at #CentralPark in @WeAreNorthPark, on Ellice St by #RockBayLanding, @BeaconSave, @savestadacona and elsewhere.
I regularly reported minors to MYST.

No qualms that the court you’re playing on removed access to the park for those with disabilities? #HumanRights @ItsYourRightBC @dbwillows @MS_athlete

Do something for these neighbours, @CityofVictoria! They are being denied enjoyment of their own home & space due to your negligence with these outdoor encampments. How can they sleep at night listening to this constant yelling? How do u sleep at night being responsible for it?

Again, the F-you is actually directed towards the unhoused and housed people around Stadacona Park. Tx, @CityOfVictoria. Your new playground is going to be a massive success right next to an encampment. People need homes, supports.Parks offer neither. #yyj @dave_eby @kavlon_ravi

Nice to see deer in @BeaconSave soaking up the sun in peace. Thank you for those who had the foresight to establish a Trust. And thank you to the BC Supreme Court for upholding it. Despite @Dave_Eby and his housing consultant trying to break it.

@Dave_Eby doesn't like other people's kids. Building controversial supportive housing in Kits, for drug induced mentally ill, including an injection site, directly across from a school.
He hires a housing consultant who hates kids too.
As #yyj mayor she had to be dragged kicking & screaming to move violent tenters from #BHP located across from South Park School, & after a total of 15 windows got smashed.
She had to get a court order to move them. This sparked a legal battle from @BeaconSave against the #helps governed #yyj. Because she was also challenging the legitimacy of the 1890's Park Trust , & the Park won, only to be appealed by eby in the Supreme Court and he lost the appeal. At tax payers expense.
Why do these politicians hate our children so much?
Why do they put drug induced criminals ahead of the safety of our children? @KevinFalcon

He tried challenging a judges decision in the Supreme Court against @BeaconSave and lost. The guy is not invincible. Hope Kitsilano can challenge Eby through the Supreme Court using his proven failure with mental heath and addictions.

@marg_gardiner @MarianneAlto @mattdellok @KristaLoughton @SusanKimYYJ @rightstoday @JeremyCaradonna please reopen Beacon Hill Park to all community members to visit and return it to pre pandemic and pre camping accessibility.

Saw all the herons roosting in Beacon Hill Park this morning. Great to go see, but also a PSA to look out overhead when you walk by 😅

Oh look, Gardiner wants to reopen some roads in Beacon Hill.
This is another one that will make a splash. #yyj

@Adam_Stirling did I hear that correctly @CityOfVictoria was prepared to fork out $450k feasibility study on opening the roads up @BeaconSave? Why so much and what did this study involve besides padding some consultants pockets?
