I wonder how many residents in aged care think that Albanese has lost the election with his day 1 gaff on employment numbers and the current cash rate….as they gobble up mashed spud, baked beans and left over purée made from scraps?

A terrific summary of the vicious, utterly unprincipled Murdoch and Stokes war on @AlboMP and the Labor government.

Join the call for Australia’s media companies to stand together by refusing to cover One Nation events until the access issue is resolved. Media companies should be insisting that One Nation accepts the attendance of ALL accredited journalists, not just the ones it perceives as unquestioning or supportive. We need a robust liberal democracy ... not a Trumpian perversion. abcfriends.au/actions/boycot…

Greg Sheridan on Insiders says he doesn’t want US AI firms held legally accountable for hacking Australians because then “they won’t come here." Apparently adding AI regulations to keep Australians safe is an act of “self sabotage” 🙄 Absolute bootlicking trash on ABC. #auspol

Swans players have been accused of sexual assault. Albanese has been accused of making a tacky comment. Can you see the difference in seriousness of these examples?

As a teacher, I’d be chuffed to claim the credit for the student protest against Hanson. However, it’s all their doing. And that’s what makes me proud. Bloody great kids.

If One Nation can't handle journalists asking difficult questions, they're not fit to hold office. Pauline and her candidates have no fortitude, no intelligence, no resilience, and no capacity for basic scrutiny. Any media outlet with a shred of self-respect shouldn't turn up.
Hanson bars The Age, ABC and Guardian from Melbourne press conference over ‘character assassination attempts’. theage.com.au/national/austr…

Dave, spare me the faux concern. You confidently broadcast economic bullshit, refuse to correct it when exposed, and then invoke ordinary Australians as moral cover for your own irresponsibility. This is how Trumpist politics takes hold: confident falsehoods are repeated until they become tribal truths, corrections are dismissed as bullshit, and the person checking the facts becomes the enemy. Once we accept that style of public discourse here, we should not be surprised when we end up with the same degraded political culture. You do not improve Australians’ living standards by misleading them. You do not serve the public by feeding them political fiction on sycophantic platforms where nobody interrupts the performance with facts. You asked what you got wrong. I answered in detail. Four replies later, you have not rebutted a single point. Your concern for Australians would be more convincing if it extended to whether the things you tell them are true.

The real joke is that One Nation is still afforded legitimacy. Decades on, Pauline has produced no evidence she's capable of doing anything beyond generating headlines and collecting a parliamentary salary, despite routinely not turning up for work.

Doug ALP were political dead ducks 15 years ago now they are the only political party in Australia who are united and professionally governing Australia largely due to Anthony Albanese and his ability to galvanise and strategically plan.

More unhinged horse shit. Since the budget the ASX200 is up; govt bond yields down; consumer sentiment up; business Capex booming; household spending up. Someone mentioned - it's looking for excuses for poor performance
After presiding over some of the world’s worst productivity numbers, Albanese and Chalmers are putting in place one of the world’s most hostile environments for business, writes columnist Christopher Joye. ebx.sh/ybbiSC

Many #Australians don't realise how unusual our compulsory #superannuation and paid leave entitlements are. They are among the reasons Australia consistently ranks highly as a place to live. So, thank #ALP & #PaulKeating 4 superannuation. And thank #KevinRudd for the #FairWorkAct

Yes, we’re considering running a new campaign protesting that one of @Channel9’s main “stars” is now interviewing violent fascists on his podcast. We’d need support and assistance to run this campaign, but are up for it if we can get enough enthusiasm. Please like, comment and/or re-tweet if you’re in favour. Anyone?
Tonight. 5PM. In a historical change, Keir Starmer is out. We speak to Tommy Robinson. The guy you've all been asking for. The ultimate disruptor. Many say, a voice for the people. This is a wild chat you can't miss.

Unleaded petrol now $1.53 in Sydney. What a remarkable achievement by @AlboMP & Co to keep Australia moving during the ME crisis. Australia now has over 50 days fuel supply in reserve and with The Strait to reopen fuel supplies will increase. Thanks @AlboMP

@PressClubAust as a former journalist of 47 years I am appalled by your handling of Hanson yesterday. You allowed her to speak for too long then limited the amount of questions. Your failure not to condemn her for her attack on the journalist from the Guardian was disgraceful.

Yes let’s keep talking about whether this banner highlighting Pauline Hanson’s shocking record on worker’s pay and conditions, helped or did not help her. Let’s keep talking about it and showing the banner all the way until the election. 🤣
