If @AbdulElSayed truly means what he says about treating the Jewish community as he would treat his own children, then he would immediately condemn this dangerous ad as outrageously antisemitic and demand that it be taken down.
If not, then he’s full of shit.
New low for normalized Jew-hate in the American Democratic Party. Very sad:
Painting your political opponents as puppets of Jews, as this El-Sayed ad does, and as crazed baby-killers and money-grubbing villains who are the root cause of every bad thing not just in the world, but in your life—from wars to the price of eggs to the reason you can’t have free healthcare—is not just low-grade Jew-hate. It’s pure Third Reich stuff, translated directly from the original German.
Do you remember when Jewish Democrats in Michigan explained that they would vote for El-Sayed despite his open disdain for Jews, since there are many other important issues they need him to fight for? That anything was worth it to “defeat MAGA”?
Well, here’s El-Sayed’s answer to them: Don’t worry, all those issues we agree on, like healthcare, inflation, and climate change, I’m going to make them about Jews too! I will tell the public that the Jews are the reason they can’t have those things.

BREAKING: Ahead of President Obama’s Detroit rally with Dr. El-Sayed, 230 rabbis from 34 states plus DC sent Dr. El-Sayed an open letter standing in solidarity with the Michigan rabbis and leaders behind Nonnegotiable Michigan.
Their request is simple: that when Dr. El-Sayed stands beside President Obama, he affirm our five nonnegotiables publicly and in his own words, and then demonstrate through his words and actions that he means them.

Just brutal.🔥Op-ed from a MI Democratic voter in @DetroitNews👉Rogers "is a good, decent, and honorable American with whom I have various policy disagreements. I believe this is the time to choose a good, decent, and honorable man without a hint of the vile stench of antisemitism."
"Policy disagreements can be resolved by people of goodwill. Fundamental character concerns can not."

Replying to @NYCMayor
October 7th is a day to remember the Israeli civilians slaughtered by Hamas.
If Mayor Mamdani was serious about making NYC's Jews feel safe and comforted on this horrible day, that is what he would focus on. Nothing more.

Pedestrian struck by bike in @CentralPark_NYC has died. Rest in peace. Shame on Conservancy + @NYC_DOT for encouraging high-speeds in the Park and the "bike lobby" (@transalt) for continuing to oppose a 15mph bike speed limit. @nyc_evsa @GaleBrewerNYC

Harvard kids singing Radiohead’s “Creep.”
This could have gone very wrong.
Then the lead singer opens his mouth.
The Harvard Veritones have won at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella — the real-world competition that inspired Pitch Perfect.
Turn the sound on for this one.

Press coverage is Trump’s oxygen.
Suffocate him by boycotting until freedom of the press is restored
(Plus, we could all use a break from him)

I condemn any statement, including from an MDP State Central Committee Member, which use threats of violence. It feels like I have to make that clear every week — from the right and from the left.
Debate in our politics is good. Threats of violence and invoking “the gallows” for elected leaders you disagree with is unacceptable.

The Kennedy Memorial is made of irreplaceable marble that was gifted by Italy.
Matisse tapestries found throughout were gifted from France.
The massive starburst chandelier in the Opera Hall, and lights along walkways, were a gift from Sweden.
The record-breaking stage curtains were a gift from Japan. They had to build special looms to weave them because of how big they are.
The grounds are beautiful with displays of art.
This is what Trump is destroying.

Sind jene, die einen israelischen Dokumentarfilm 25 Minuten lang mit Standing Ovations feiern, auch bereit, die 47-minütige Dokumentation aus den Bodycams der Hamas-Terroristen anzusehen?

And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.
It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.
Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Comedians are pulling out of a festival in Portugal because Jerry Seinfeld is headlining.
His offense? Being Jewish.
Seinfeld is not an Israeli politician, soldier, or government official.
But the fact that he is Jewish and has a connection to Israel is apparently enough to make sharing a comedy festival with him morally unacceptable.
We are constantly told that hostility toward Israel has nothing to do with hostility toward Jews. Meanwhile, Jews around the world are repeatedly subjected to political loyalty tests over Israel and punished when they give the “wrong” answer.

To be a Zionist is to refuse to turn a blind eye to what is done in the Jewish state's name. To be a Jew is to bear witness. Settler extremism in the West Bank — unchecked, unpoliced, unconscionable — is a moral emergency for Israel and all who love her.
Today I traveled to Umm al-Khair and Jenata with @Rabbis4HR — not despite my Zionism, but because of it.
