For the 16th year in a row, we’re happy to celebrate International Video Store Day! Celebrate with us with sales and exclusive VSD releases. Haven’t rented in a while because you were super late with Wild Things? As long as your account is up to date, we’ll take those fees off!
Some hefty boxsets and other new arrivals from @imprint_films are now on our shelves!
This was a fun chat, and we were happy to be included among a great group of people keeping physical media alive!

I wrote this. Was fun to talk to fellow lovers of obsolete tech & learn that @BayStreetVideo has seen a boost in new rental memberships in 2026. Their top-ten rentals of the year may surprise you.

One of the themes of this weekend's 24-Hour Horror Movie Mind Melter is me and you hanging out as new friends, and I'm way too excitedly screaming at you, "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MOVIE! OH MAN! IT'S SO GOOD! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT! LET'S WATCH IT NOW!"
After the day of the Skydance deal closing ominously giving us no movies, a rush of new releases have arrived! We have the action comedy boxset of ACES GO PLACES from @Shout_Studios and the dudes rock/dudes do not rock duo of JACKASS: BEST AND LAST and THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD!
And a few more new arrivals are now on our shelves from @imprint_films and @viavisionent !
Late shipments means we are unfortunately still awaiting most of today’s new releases.
But in the meantime, we’ve got a couple cult oddities from @88_Films and a few others hitting our shelves today!
Watch this space for more stuff arriving soon!
Finally. The missing piece of the Canadian film fall puzzle. @clevack
