DSA LA should be focusing on winning this election cycle AND increasing community defense efforts against ICE. This whole debacle only puts effort and energy away from that.

This is the test case for what they’re going to try on AOC later. If I were AOC I’d look at an expulsion of Nithya as a sign to run for Senate instead. If you seriously want to run a class struggle presidential election in 28, then this is a spineless and braindead move.

And regardless of whether you supported her endorsement, the NPC making such a late intervention is wreckerism. LA’s democratic choice has been made, the coalitions have been built. If you’d do it differently then go out and do it instead of undermining what’s been done.

Plenty of other chapters have made endorsements that likely violate R22, and even more have endorsed candidates who won’t even join DSA or commit to co-governing (cough cough PSL). LA is being targeted because it’s a large chapter dominated by mass politics caucuses.

anyway if you live in LA you should vote for nithya raman regardless of what 27 dorks playing model UN think lol
and if the NPC does go through with this DSA-LA should just ignore it and stand by their endorsement

Today, I received a threatening letter at my Ann Arbor dorm that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the office of Hillary Scholten, made a specific threat. Scholten has not yet addressed the attacks, either to take or deny responsibility.
Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending “civil war” beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately.
Threats and extremism are not signs of strength—they are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. I’ll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.

it’s very important when doing domestic terrorism that you make sure to sign your threatening packages with your organization’s name

Apparently my attempt to make amends with conservative democrats by sending them free cocaine on behalf of DSA has not been as well received as I hoped

Has to be understood that Zionists are operating within a pre-Enlightenment worldview that simply does not accept ideas about pluralism and tolerance that even a lot of modern conservatives just take for granted. They see even peaceful criticism of their politics as illegitimate.
They will call anyone who crosses them an antisemite. It doesn't matter if you're a college freshman saying Free Palestine or the former President of the United States. Confront the realities of the Zionist colonial project and you're a Jew hater. Stop giving these people oxygen.
Opinion: When Obama speaks, millions of people listen. If he truly believes that it is “undeniable” that Jews “took land off people," then he is an antisemitism superspreader.
