They miss the times they could kill Palestinians and no one in the West would notice
A video of young Israelis singing "Song for Peace" at InDNegev, ain indie music festival in the Negev Desert, near Gaza has gone viral, stirring nostalgia for a time when Israeli-Palestinian peace seemed possible | Video by @tomerappelbaum

This is from an episode of Law & Order SVU 26 years ago where they casually claim that 75% of all murders in Gaza and the West Bank were honor killings. Just making up insane statistics about Palestinians and passing them off as facts on national television. Imagine how much of this bullshit Americans have been fed for decades.

So under Anthropic's bill, Anthropic can kill 49 people and steal up to a billion dollars before anyone can legally stop them

earnest albeit idiosyncratic answer: Zohran has a past track of relatively good positions and a recent track of backsliding, imo there's a good deal of agitation & pressure that's still worth trying to apply; vs Nithya has consistely been shit & has ignored outreach for 4+ years

DSA is not only the most successful modern day socialist movement in the US but left movement period. our wins are inseparable from our theory of change, including holding endorsed candidates to a line. i do not care what entitles staffers think. it is time to win over workers.

If you ignore basic democratic red lines for political expediency, its basically a message that for any minoritarian position struggling for a majority, to concretize their lines democratically - I mean why bother? If you can sell out Palestine you can sell out anything

I voted against the DSA resolution authorizing this letter, but the numbers just weren't on my side.
Today, my district office received a suspicious package similar to those sent to other congressional offices across the country.
Our office was evacuated, and Iโm grateful that my staff is safe.
I want to thank the Prince William County Police and Fire Departments, as well as federal law enforcement, for their swift response and professionalism.
Political violence and intimidation have no place in our democracy. Those responsible must be held accountable.

โSure we got played for suckers, but if we just win every single elected office in America we might be able to fire a police commissioner.โ

Apparently my attempt to make amends with conservative democrats by sending them free cocaine on behalf of DSA has not been as well received as I hoped

Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending โcivil warโ beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately.
Threats and extremism are not signs of strengthโthey are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. Iโll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.
