Replying to @JackDeBath
He has resigned! 🥳 bathnewseum.com/2026/03/30/s…
When Bath's LibDem appointed Mayor chose to use social media to spread multiple anti-Semitic messages for the world to see, an apology is simply not good enough.
Bath’s Mayor, (a LibDem Cllr) must resign and he must resign now.
The people of Bath, deserve and demand better.

Carrakevs's reply to @johndarvall may have been lost in the chain so let me post it here.
Carra has confirmed that contrary to what he claimed on @BBCRB, Charlton House has not been "transformed" and is not opening "soon".
Facts matter.
Of course. @CllrKevinGuy can you please confirm whether Charlton House is or will be happening and by when. Thank you.

Alex is exactly right.
The government's Budget hits farmers who feed the nation, small business owners, hard-up pensioners, parents who opt out of the state sector...and so many others.
If you don't vote Labour, they just don't care about you.

Huge Conservative gain in Gosport. Despite Reform standing, there’s still a 12% swing from Labour to the Conservatives. 💪

LibDems tabled an early-day motion urging the govt to “take all actions within their power” to secure the release of British Hamas hostage Emily Damari.
It was signed by many LibDem MPs.
My MP @Wera_Hobhouse did NOT support the motion.

Laura asked @KemiBadenoch how it feels to be the first black leader of a UK party:
“I think the best thing will be is where we get to the point when the colour of your skin is no more remarkable than the colour of your eyes or the colour of your hair."
Great answer #BBCLauraK

It is an honour and a privilege to have been elected to lead our great Conservative Party. A party that I love, that has given me so much.
I’d also like to pay tribute to @RobertJenrick who fought a great campaign. I have no doubt he will have a key role to play in our party for many years to come.
Thank you to all the members who have put their faith in me.
It is time to get down to business.
It is time to renew.

Here are all the times Rachel Reeves told us she had “iron-clad” fiscal rules.
Turns out, they weren’t worth the paper they were written on.
