Friends of #UBI I just wrote a letter to my Congresspeople, demanding Emergency Universal Basic Income in the negotiations for next phase of stimulus. It was easy. If everyone on my twitter feed takes a few minutes to send a letter, we will win a #UBI.

It is beyond critical that #Congress include recurring adequate cash payment to people in the next #COVID19 #StimulusPlan @RepRichardNeal @SpeakerPelosi #CongressPassUBI
Months. Do you hear that, Congress? How is there still any doubt that you must include monthly payments to the people in the next stimulus? #CongressPassUBI #BailOutThePeople nytimes.com/2020/04/26/us/co… via @NYTimes
Friends, spend a while tweeting, retweeting the @income_movement letter writing #Stimulus campaign to @WaysMeansCmte and Congress-remind our legislators of what People need to weather #COVID19 and to follow #stayhome community directives: recurring cash payments #CongressPassUBI
Twitter is great! And... don't forget to write your letters to congress today. And guess what? You can do it tomorrow as well! #CongressPassUBI

#basicincome has attracted attention from much more than just @TheDemocrats. Glad one of our hometown rags is finally catching on.
The idea that Americans should get a minimum guaranteed income is attracting a lot of attention from Democrats this year on.wsj.com/37RUlU7

The system is NOT broken. It was built this way. It's exploitative, not equitable, it's exclusive, not inclusive. #WeOweUS a fight for the 21st Century. – at Manhattan, NY

The Freedom Dividend as proposed by @AndrewYang is equivalent to a $6/hr raise for those working 40 hrs and a $12/hr raise for those working 20 hrs. Think about that and how unlike a $15/hr wage, it gives a raise to everyone already earning $15/hr or more, and all unpaid workers.
A new study suggests that raising the minimum wage may lower the suicide rate — and that doing so might have saved tens of thousands of people from dying by suicide in the last quarter century.

@BasicIncomeNYC @basicincomeamerica friends, take a few.minutes today to sign our @income_movement petition to @TheDemocrats #DNC
The #DNC has ignored @AndrewYang and @CoryBooker. Will they ignore the people?
Sign the petition to demand the DNC reform the debate qualifying criteria. Who has a voice and is given a microphone matters.

@AndrewYang has reached the level where he's forcing the leading candidates to react to him & influencing positions of people throughout the party. I think he's doing so well because more than anyone else, he's running on well thought-out policies. @scottsantens
