Managerial incompetence is definitely part of it, but I don't think it's fair to place the blame ENTIRELY on management. The Blue Jackets have literally had two roster players die under tragic circumstances this decade, including their would've-been franchise star.
Lmao well it's obvious why this Blue Jackets team has issues. If you take Marchenko not wanting to play in Columbus as a personal shot at you instead of a shot at how poorly that organization has been run over the last decade, you gotta give your head a shake.

People are going to remember this for decades; that so many in Ireland indulged in antisemitism and support for terrorist organizations out of a reflexive hatred for Israel. It may take decades for Ireland's reputation to recover from this.
Remember when a workers union in Dublin held a pro houthi event in their offices? I remember.

literal fucking goycattle lmfao
Looks like the cattle are, predictably, blaming Israel for the riots in France.

The fact that Greta Thunberg employs "Hunger Games" references in her propaganda proves that she is uncultured and basic, in addition to being a nepo baby and an idiot in general lmao
While Paris burned yesterday, Greta Thunberg was posting threats on Instagram

It's a shame that Charles de Gaulle is dead. France needs somebody like him right now.

When protesters defaced the communist Hungarian and Romanian flags by cutting the state emblems out of the fabric, they were doing so to make a statement about their desire for freedom. The people defacing the Japanese flag in this way stand for the opposite.
There's a pro-open borders protest happening in Japan right now. The flags from top to bottom are: • LGBTQIA+++ and Antifa • "Palestine" • A Japanese flag with the red circle cut out To the Japanese people - You either put a stop to this right now, or Tokyo will soon look exactly like Paris. The rioters and chaos agents are literally announcing their plans to your faces. You still have a choice.

I am begging people to acknowledge that recency bias factors very heavily into initial ratings and scores films receive on websites like Letterboxd and Rotten Tomatoes
‘YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING’ is currently the highest-rated feature film of all time on Letterboxd.

This is not to say the film isn't good; I haven't seen it yet, so I can't attest to its quality. But I see posts like this all the time when a notable new film comes out, treating these stats as wholly representative. And I'm tired of it lmao

I think Israel and allied nations SHOULD plan an evacuation of Irish Jews. As much as it pains me to say it, I cannot rule out the possibility of antisemitic pogroms in Ireland. This indulgence in antisemitism will remain a stain on Ireland's reputation for decades to come.
Writing for the prestigious Middle East Forum, Rubin urges Israel and its allies to prepare a contingency plan for a mass evacuation of Ireland's Jews One may either fully agree or vehemently disagree with this proposal - or land somewhere in between What's clear, however, is that policymakers at the top echelons in Washington DC are increasingly aware of the ongoing situation in Ireland with regard to antisemitism In my private discussions with journalists and policymakers, I myself have noticed people at the highest levels are increasingly concerned about the future of the Irish Jewish community and are actively following developments as they unfold

"The Substance" was robbed in 2025. "Anora" just came out in the right culture at the right time. I've seen virtually nobody talk about it since those Oscars, and for good reason. Legit one of the most overrated movies of the decade
which year had the strongest lineup ?? #filmtwt

NHL culture is taking a turn for the worse as well. Instead of honoring the game as generations of fans have, the League is pandering to the lowest common denominator. "Heated Rivalry" fans and "boy aquarium" types are apparently more important than the NHL's bread and butter.
Edmonton didn't sell out their last home game. Vegas hasn't sold out their last three. NHL teams need to be really careful about taking their fans for granted. It's getting real expensive out there and fans don't have the same kind of money to pay for tickets + parking + food.

Beyond that, the NHL has also been chasing gimmicks (see: the All-Star Game format) in a vain attempt to grow their audience. I'm all for growing the game, but the NHL — as well as we, as fans — need to be judicious in how we do so.

Instead of pandering to the lowest common denominator, we as a community should encourage new fans to elevate themselves to our level. Get them to buy into our traditions instead of throwing out our traditions to cater to them.
