The DJLR cinematic universe is expanding! With (what we hope is) the return of the Sonics around the corner, Rain City Rebound will be bringing you the news, updates, and analysis of what will be the greatest sports story in Seattle history. This is going to be a BIG deal.

8 goals given up by Joey Daccord ties a franchise record for most goals given up by a #SeaKraken goalie, tying Martin Jones who allowed 8 goals in a win(!!!) over the Los Angeles Kings on November 19, 2022.

Bad loss to Florida, but the #SeaKraken finish their road trip 3-1-1. Back at home Tuesday against Detroit.

Sam Bennett scores his third of the game, giving the Panthers two players with hat tricks today. Joey's been hung out to dry all game long, but I'm surprised to see him still in net. #SeaKraken

There is literally nothing worse in life than getting blown out by a team with a bad goal song

Matty Beniers is on the ice again

Seattle Kraken goal! The Wright/Catton/Kakko line is buzzing and they buzz the front of the net. The puck pops out to Ryker Evans who scores from downtown. The Berkly Catton line has easily been the Kraken's best this game. #SeaKraken

Sam Reinhart scores on the power play when the #SeaKraken, who have been passive all night, remain passive on the PK and make it way too easy for Florida.

Kaapo Kakko has been boxed for interference and that will end the #SeaKraken power play. We'll do 4-on-4 for 1:02 and then the Panthers will get an abbreviated power play.

Brady Tkachuk got a roughing penalty after the 2nd period ended, so the #SeaKraken start the third period on the power play. Third period is under way.

If this Kraken game was a commercial, it would be for Liberty Biberty

Update through two periods: The Catton line has now been outhaumphed by the Panthers, but the Stephenson line is getting outhaumphed even more (Catton: 33.7% 5-on-5 xG share; Stephenson 12.1% xG share)

After two, the #SeaKraken trail by four. Awful game by Seattle. Losing puck battles, puck watching, blowing coverages, and not doing any of the little things or the big things to keep this game competitive. Lane Lambert has to be furious. 6-2 Panthers 2nd int.

2nd period concludes with a shove and a mini-foofaraw. With the score out of hand, I won't be surprised if the third period devolves into physical nonsense. #SeaKraken

Adam Larsson with a great keep sets up a chance for Freddy Gaudreau, who looked like he was trying to pass but instead passed it into the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season. #SeaKraken

Sam Lafferty goes to the box for interference and the #SeaKraken will attempt to convert their third power play chance of the game.

Matty Beniers not on the bench, per the broadcast. Someone get the Time Stone and go back to the beginning of this game and try this again. Just start over fresh. #WhatWouldThanosDo #SeaKraken
