think you're right, I would imagine Trump would like to have a copy of someone being executed. He's all about death.

I imagine there will be private viewing opportunities for the Dear Leader!
I’m also sure that video will be leaked sooner rather than later.

Russell here. Thank you. Brenda and I thank you all without adequate words to express what is in our hearts. We are leaving Robert's now with Robert of course. Can you all hear him no matter where you are because we're running a little behind, haha, and we're heading to the upper peninsula of Michigan for a week. None of us will be on here but I need to say something today. First be assured that Brenda and I have our phones so if anything happens regarding Robert's health or Robert's threats to myself it will be taken care of. Robert is not taking his phone. The most important thing I want to tell you all now because I won't be able to tell you on Tuesday as we are all staying off our phones. 6 years to the day our lives were radically changed from Robert's cancer diagnosis on October 20th, 2020. For those of you who follow him or have read his books you know what this has been like as well as if you have the disease or any of your loved ones have the disease you know what it is like. Robert's first two years were unusual because of the coma followed by extensive rehabilitation and then trying to learn how to adjust to life very slowly. There was a loneliness and he joined Twitter. And found a community by using the cancer hashtag. And here you are. The love that you have given him especially in light of the fact that he lives in Michigan and no longer with those of us who have known him forever has prevented him from remaining lonely. Because in Michigan there were many times through the hospitalizations he could not get out into the community. So Brenda and I thank you for the community of love and support that you offer in your constant presence. Love to all of you. We are grateful. (Robert just told me to hurry the hell up and post this because he knows our first stop is breakfast and he would rather have his pancakes before dinner). 😂 ❤️

And what a cultural Shift it was. It felt like overnight things just became so much more relaxed, and people became more aware of their surroundings. Do you remember it?

Good night friends!
Saw this sign today, & it made me realize that sometimes we are oblivious to what’s around us, & the serenity of it all.
Take advantage of these moments.
Rest easy …

MY HOURGLASS IS RUINING OUT OF SAND.
by Michael Whelan
There was a time when famous people were simply part of the scenery.
That sounds terribly arrogant, so let me explain.
I never believed I belonged in their world. I was lucky enough to have a career that occasionally dropped me into the middle of it.
The common denominator was sports television.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
I spent decades in the business, eventually becoming Director of Production at HBO Sports, helping develop what became one of television's most respected sports divisions. In 1992, HBO sent me to Barcelona to produce the Summer Olympics for NBC Sports. Later, I became a vice president at The Golf Channel and helped create its production operation and programming from the ground up.
Over the years, I produced more than 2,500 television shows.
That's a lot of headsets.
Sports took me into rooms with presidents, actors, musicians, writers, and nearly every kind of athlete imaginable.
Robin Williams. Gene Hackman. Bruce Willis. Al Pacino. Meryl Streep. Anthony Hopkins. Robert De Niro. Tom Hanks. Clint Eastwood. Bill Murray. Dolly Parton. James Taylor. Glenn Frey. Elton John. Paul Simon.
I wasn't collecting celebrities.
I was working.
It just happened to be a ridiculously good job.
One afternoon Jack Nicholson stood beside his pool pouring me a scotch as casually as if we'd been neighbors for twenty years.
Another night, I was guzzling tequila with Ted Turner and Jane Fonda until none of us could stand particularly well. Ted spent much of the limo ride back to the hotel throwing up out the window.
Jane and I were in no condition to critique his technique.
I'm grateful there were no cellphone cameras.
I'm also amazed I made it to seventy.
But age changes the lighting.
My shelves are full of Emmys and Peabodys. Once, they represented ambition, pressure, sacrifice, and proof that maybe I knew what I was doing.
Now they gather dust.
Sometimes I hang a towel on one.
Somewhere, my younger self is horrified.
But I understand now that the awards were never the life.
They were souvenirs from it.
The life was the roar of arenas. The television trucks. Barcelona. Ceasars Palace. Wimbledon. The control rooms. The voice in my headset yelling, “Thirty seconds until we go live.
Life doesn't need my permission to change.
The shows end. The titles disappear. Someone younger sits in your office. The phone rings less.
People scatter.
People die.
And what once felt permanent becomes memory.
That makes me sad.
Not bitter.
Just sad.
Sometimes I miss the younger man who thought there would always be another broadcast, another trip, another summer, another ordinary Tuesday with the woman he loved.
I didn't know I was living memories.
I thought I was simply living.
Now the room is quieter.
I'm seventy.
The trophies are gathering dust.
Rebecca isn't beside me.
And this enormous life has become stories I tell.
So I don't look back and think:
Look who I met.
I think:
Look what I got to live.
And I am grateful beyond words that it happened.
And a little heartbroken that it already did.

I can be forgiving but not when it involves breaking one's oath of office while engaging to overthrow the legal governance of the country & especially when those actions led to the deaths of those doing their sworn duty. There's blood on her hands.
I'm all forgiveness, but only if it is paired with accountability. @mtgreene

Here’s another attack without warning. 🤬
A Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. Once again, no early warning from our partners. The main target was energy infrastructure, specifically CHPP-4. Unfortunately, it was hit. A residential building was also damaged, and rescuers are currently putting out a fire there. Our systems detected these missiles only when they were already virtually on approach to Kyiv. CHPP-4 is one of Kyiv’s key energy facilities.
According to our intelligence, the Russians are preparing further ballistic missile launches. The facts show that the Russians do not consider themselves bound by what the President of the United States said. Ukraine supported an energy ceasefire. Russia is targeting yet another power plant and the lives of our people.
And this is absolutely unjust: when they are destroying our energy infrastructure, and Ukraine is not even receiving early warnings about ballistic missile launches. It is important that the world does not stay silent about this. And it is important that the United States really see what is happening and who is responsible for this war continuing.
Please stay safe tonight and tomorrow. We are working to replenish our air defenses with anti-ballistic missiles.

BREAKING: AMEN! The Catholic Church SLAMS Pete Hegseth’s big public execution announcement as a “barbaric promotion of a culture of death.”
The gloves have really come off now…
“It is with shock and great sorrow that I have learned of the Department of War’s decision to publicly livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan,” Archbishop Paul S. Coakley, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, said in an official statement.
Yesterday, our alcoholic Fox News host turned “Secretary of War” proudly revealed that Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter who killed 13 people and injured 32 others in 2009, will be publicly executed. The announcment proved to be red meat for the so-called Christians in the MAGA movement, because apparently they’d rather live in Ancient Rome than in a civilized western democracy. They delight in carnage.
“Our God is the God of life. In no way can Hassan’s actions be condoned but this decision is a barbaric promotion of a culture of death and must be reconsidered,” Archbishop Coakley continued. “The word of God exhorts us: ‘do not repay anyone evil for evil' (Romans 12:17). The public execution even of one who has done grave harm will only further undermine the moral fabric of our nation and be a blight on the conscience of its people.”
“I pray for the intercession of Our Lady of Good Counsel that we as a nation may always choose life even in the most trying times and circumstances,” he added.
We couldn’t agree more. Hasan, who is confined to a wheelchair due to gunshot injuries incurred during his attack, deserves to spend the rest of his life in a prison cell. Executing him in a public has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with an administration that fetishizes violence, particularly “holy” violence against Muslims, above all else. Hegseth and Trump are pandering to their base and dragging our entire nation into the gutter in the process.
You can feel perfectly justified anger and even hatred for Hasan’s murderous actions and still not want to live in an Iron Age culture where people are killed in public by the government. Hegseth is taking a page right out of the ISIS playbook with this one and no doubt hopes that this display of brutality will prompt bloodthirsty young men to enlist in the military or ICE, which is exactly why the caliphate spread its execution videos online. These Christian Nationalists are exactly the same as the radical Islamists that they despise.
America is truly circling the drain now. Thankfully, the Catholic Church is using its full weight as a 2000-year-old institution to take a moral stand against this demonic regime. We must all lend our voices to their fight for a juster, kinder, more Christ-like society.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Archbishop Coakley for speaking out!
