A zinger here from @TheEconomist on Mark Carney's middle powers approach:
"One big problem is that the middle powers are a disparate bunch, with differing degrees of nostalgia for the order that Mr Carney mourns.... Jeffries just confirmed the plan: if Democrats take the House, the deportations stop and the people already removed start coming back.
He nodded when asked about reversing third-country removals, then said Trump’s “mass deportation machine does not get a dime.”
They called it targeting “the worst of the worst.” Now it’s “repair work” for illegal immigrants.
That’s the choice in November.

Then drops this bombshell:

Translation? Hand Democrats the gavel in November and they’ll DEFUND ICE, halt deportations, and try to REVERSE the ones already done — flying people BACK into America on YOUR dime while families struggle with groceries, rent, and crime.

YES ! Need to cap all immigration at 5% from 1 country, diversity in immigration ! Back to the scoring system, I guess it was too much work ? They scrapped the LMIA , I guess too many were rigging it & too much work to police effectively.

So far no statements from Mark Carney who continually lauds the EU stating "Canada looks first to the European Union to build a better world" - on the chaos in France...(or Ceuta, Spain.)
Maybe the 50% of Cdns who say they'd like to join the EU would like to reconsider.

NDP candidate Linda Li was fined by the BC Financial Services Authority.
An independent regulator found that she:
❌ Failed to manage a conflict of interest
❌ Submitted documents backdated by nearly a year
❌ Withheld and concealed key information from investigators
These aren't allegations from a political opponent. They're the findings of a provincial regulator.
If she can't follow the rules for a real estate deal, how can British Columbians trust her to write the laws of this province?
David Eby must remove Linda Li as a candidate today.
