This guest in our country, who supports terrorists and fronted an organization dedicated to the “total eradication of Western civilization,” should not and does not have a right to remain here.

Yet another Taxpayer assisted transaction of a #CommunityBank. I assume that a Michigan credit union buying a community bank in Florida is just an expansion of serving “modest means customers with a common bond” Whats the common bond, serving wealthy Floridians? #SomethingsWrong ! One day Congress will wake up and wonder where all the tax revenues went, where all the mortgage approvals went, why small business loans stopped being made. Why not ask for hearings on if credit unions have left their mission, which i would argue they have. Come on @SenatorTimScott @SenKatieBritt , hold hearings.. #WakeUp @Alice_P_Frazier @ICBA 8th of 2026 88th in 79 months I will never be comfortable hearing about these transactions. hovdegroup.com/wp-content/up…

Victor Davis Hanson: Rubio’s Warning About the Decline of the West Marco Rubio’s speech in Athens delivered a powerful message about the importance of defending Western civilization and preserving its legacy. Tracing the West’s roots from ancient Greece and Rome to the founding of the United States, the speech highlights the achievements of Western culture, including the rule of law, constitutional government and free-market capitalism. But with declining confidence in Western values, anti-Western ideologies and growing threats from within and abroad, the future of Western civilization is increasingly uncertain. @VDHanson

All-‘60s @immaculategrid Ashburn 4th HOFer in the grid. Gilliam lifelong @Dodgers. Wilson tragically passed away during his peak years. Pearson an original @Angels. Alou all-time great PH. Underrated Pappas traded to @Reds for HOFer Frank Robinson.

It was horrible mismanagement on so many fronts. I’m not sure why there is such an effort to dilute that - crazy high uninsured with no liquidity mitigation, chasing yield with ridiculous duration w/ no hedge, highly concentrated deposit, poor board member engagement/oversight. I’m still angry about how this silly bank caused so much harm. Let’s not forget what a darling they were - sitting on the Fed board, touted as the best of breed. The regulators & the system that oversaw should be scrutinized, the management & board that managed them should be criticized & held accountable, & the customers/shareholders that enabled such a bailout should be embarrassed. This wasn’t a short term crisis - they crumbled under the slightest bit of scrutiny because of exhaustive incompetence.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency reviewed nine of the nation’s largest banks and found all nine had policies that required, encouraged, or influenced staff to deny or limit service based on customers’ political or religious beliefs or lawful business activity. Debanking people for their political beliefs is a threat to every American’s liberty.

Many, many, many, many, many reasons.
This is one of the MANY reasons you should only bank with local community banks that can answer this question. @JillCastilla

Betting on tonight's Dodgers game is not "investing" even if @Kalshi uses that term to allow it to offer bets to teenagers through captive @CFTC. This type of financial doublespeak is dangerous as I describe in my latest @barronsonline barrons.com/articles/the-dan…

It’s a damn shame that in so many states, visionless leaders sold out to the lie of “unity” and sacrificed the independence of the community banking voice to throw in with the big guys. This should be fixed.
