We know residents have questions about the use of Susquehanna River water.
This week, @BaltimoreDPW activated the Deer Creek Pump Station to draw water from the Susquehanna River and supplement the regional drinking-water supply. The water will be blended with reservoir water, fully treated and tested, and will continue to meet federal and state drinking-water standards.
Our FAQ explains why this step is being taken, how the process works and what residents may notice.
