There's a new fastest time on the Pacific Crest Trail! And this was done as a self-supported FKT 😮
Nick Fowler covered the entire PCT in 45 days, 17 hours, and 47 minutes, averaging a mind-boggling 57 miles per day. He beat the previous overall record ,which was set with a dedicated support crew, by just under 2.5 hours.

PSA to anyone looking for a "voicemail" service for their podcast (or otherwise). DO NOT use @telbee_io. This is a scam business.
Once you upgrade to their paid plan, there's no way to cancel. I attempted to cancel several times, and I'm still being charged. cc @bernieklein

Today's episode with @COBlackpacker is an important listen. She details a story of being assaulted in a trail town along the PCT.
It sucks very much that this is still happening. As she states, this isn't indicative of the hiking community...
