Great news! Congratulations @ccorderoy Having seen you conduct @BYOpera recently @3choirs I'm not surprised @TheCBSO chose you. Good luck working with this fine orchestra. What an opportunity!
Well this is VERY EXCITING! 😳 Beyond happy to have been appointed as an Assistant Conductor to the CBSO for their 2023/24 season. I’ve never felt so well welcomed/supported in an audition room as I did with these guys. Cannot wait to work with them over the next year.

“…the response was unanimous – they needed to direct, design and conduct. So next year, participants on our creator strands will actually direct, design and conduct our summer showcase production.”
Big news Thursday! We've launched the first online opera training hub in the UK. And we've called it... BYO hub. We believe it will open doors for people who are starting or thinking about starting a career in opera. byo.org.uk/articles/introduc…

“What can I say … aged 25, conducting one of our top orchestras in a difficult, complicated work, in a hostile acoustic, in a packed cathedral. Her control was immaculate, her grasp of the music’s elaborate ebb & flow apparently flawless. The RPO played for her like angels.” 🙏🏼
★★★★ A revelatory performance by young musicians: Vaughan Williams's The Pilgrim's Progress @3choirs performed by @BYOpera conducted by 'masterly' Charlotte Corderoy writes Stephen Walsh theartsdesk.com/opera/pilgri…

Being a director in a Sitzprobe is like being at a private concert where you can sit in every seat. Today’s been a pretty epic day with @BYOpera & @royalphilorch. Special mention to @ccorderoy who is a total legend 👌🏼 Next stop, Gloucester Cathedral…!
We've been rehearsing Vaughan Williams' epic opera, The Pilgrim's Progress, with @BYOpera, the @3choirs Festival Youth Choir and conductor @ccorderoy before the performance at the Festival @gloscathedral on Mon 24 July. It's going to be jaw-dropping! 🎶 rpo.co.uk/3choirs

And so marks the end of Week 1. Pilgrim is very much on the move. Progress sponsored by dangerously addictive ‘party lemon wafers’ provided by my wonderful assistant Peggy. Rehearsal snacks are a risky game and I am losing 🍋 @BYOpera @3choirs @royalphilorch @WillKerley
