Sydney Sweeney votes in California! 😆 BRILLIANT ad by the Prop 39 campaign. Common sense is on the ballot in this election—and not just in the governor's race. YES on Voter ID!

Can someone please explain it to me like I’m 5 why people are more outraged that Elon built a car that actually flies than they are that Gavin Newsom’s California has spent $15.6 billion over nearly 18 years on a bullet train that still doesn’t move.

Why does everything feel fake? We have a Congress that won't pass something 83% people want. We have courts that release criminals faster than police can arrest them. We have schools that graduate kids who can’t read. We have colleges that charge $200K for degrees that don’t get you jobs. We have a non-profit system that profits from our tax dollars. We have a health care industry that profits from you staying sick. We have “representatives” who don’t represent us. We have “news” networks that report opinions and call them facts. We have an insurance industry that fights every single claim. None of it works the way they tell you it works. And deep down, everyone knows it. It just all feels so so fake…

Actor David Spade raising awareness that a bill was introduced in California to audit where the $20+ billion dollars in missing homeless money went, it passed but then Gavin Newsom VETOED the bill to block the investigation Yes, this really happened. He blocked bills for an audit MULTIPLE TIMES Bipartisan bill AB 2903 (unanimous passed 72-0 in the Assembly, 40-0 in the Senate) would’ve forced annual public reports on where the money went Newsom vetoed it. Gavin Newsom also vetoed similar bills AB 2570 and AB 2093 “The same broader problem with people paying taxes in California — The homeless, they lose $20 billion, but they want more money for it. That's why people get tired of paying taxes and going, what are you doing? Gavin Newsom just vetoed a bill asking for an audit of where the money for homeless goes. He said, not a chance. You're not gonna see that. That's the problem.”

This should alarm every Californian. As of Oct. 1, Lancaster and Palmdale in my district now have the highest sales tax in the state: 11.75%. Families here are already paying $6+ for gas. We cannot keep absorbing tax hike after tax hike. California’s majority party continues to raise costs and then blames everyone else for the affordability crisis. nypost.com/2026/10/01/lifest…

ADAM CAROLLA: "You [Democrats] act like we’re arguing with your ideas. YOU CAN'T PULL YOUR IDEAS OFF.” "You don't lift people out of poverty. You don't solve the homeless problem. You don't fix the environmental problem. You don't have clean, sustainable forms of energy. YOU DON'T DO ANY OF THAT STUFF. YOU TALK ABOUT IT." ADDED CONTEXT: California spent $24,000,000,000 (that’s billion) on homelessness in five years. Despite the excessive spending, the state's own audit found Homelessness climbed 53% over the past decade to roughly 187,000 people. High-speed rail was sold to voters in 2008 as a $33,000,000,000 bullet train from San Francisco to LA. Eighteen years later, completion sits at a whopping ZERO percent. Not a single mile of track is in service, and the state admits even the 171-mile Merced-to-Bakersfield starter segment can't be finished by the end of 2032 without more funding. That's the Democratic Party in a nutshell. Say you want good schools, lift people out of poverty, make life better for the little guy. Then spend a whole bunch of money and get nothing done. They say they want to end suffering for low-income communities but somehow end up solving nothing and instead extend the suffering to everyone else.

How many oil refineries were there in Calif when you were sworn into office? (18) How many are there today? (11) How many gallons of gas did Calif produce when you were sworn into office? (14.5 billion gallons) How many gallons of gas does Calif produce today? (11.5 billion). Gavin Newsom -- closed 7 refineries and reduced production of gasoline in Calif by more than 20% Trump didn't do that -- gasoline refining is a state level business. Newsom did it.
Gas rationing has arrived in Trump's America. Great work, Chairman Donald!

WOW 🚨 The Los Angeles motel where Nick Shirley exposed there were over 15 different hospice companies with a parking lot full of luxury vehicles is now EMPTY, every single one of the hospice companies HAS LEFT There’s only one reason for this, EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS FRAUD To refresh your memory it was Van Nuys complex with over 15 hospice companies, just 3 stole $9.5 million - Guardian of Angels stole $4.8 million - Blossom Hospice stole $3.4 million - Miracle Healing Hospice stole $1.3 million - Total from just these three is $9.5 million But there were over 15…. Luxury cars in parking lot included: - Tesla Cybertruck - Multiple Brand-new BMW - BMW M8 - Multiple Mercedes • Second Mercedes - Multiple Teslas - Lexus - Audi @Brookerteejones “As you walk around this old motel, hospice sign gone, hospice sign gone and as you look in here, it's absolutely vacant. Nick Shirley has literally shut down this whole center that was full of hospice centers — But how do California legislators thank him for exposing this? They've actually passed a bill against him that will stop him from investigating fraud taking place here” California Democrats are criminals

⛽️ A GASOLINE STORY: WIFE: "Four dollars and fifteen cents a gallon! I nearly fell over at the pump. Thanks a lot, Trump. And that whole mess with Iran." HUSBAND: "Whoa, whoa. Not so fast, hon." WIFE: "Not so fast? Gas is through the roof!" HUSBAND: "Here's the crazy part. Oil is actually about forty bucks a barrel CHEAPER than it was under Biden. The barrel isn't the problem." WIFE: "Then why am I paying four fifteen?!" HUSBAND: "Refining. Turning the oil into gasoline. That's the bottleneck. And get this - we haven't built a major new refinery in this country since 1977." WIFE: "Nineteen seventy-SEVEN? I was in high school!" HUSBAND: "Not one. And we keep shutting down the ones we've got. California alone is closing about eighteen percent of its refineries!" WIFE: "Who shuts down a refinery when gas costs this much?!" HUSBAND: "The Democrats. They spent fifty years regulating them to death - permits, lawsuits, fees, and a promise to ban gas cars. Who's going to spend a billion dollars building something Washington swears it's going to outlaw?" WIFE: "So it was never really about Iran." HUSBAND: "Iran nudges the barrel a little. But the real story? We've got more oil than any country on Earth and we STILL import six million barrels a day, because we can't refine our own." WIFE: "That is absolutely insane." HUSBAND: "Here's the good news. Trump just broke ground on the first new refinery in almost fifty years, down in Texas." WIFE: "So I've been blaming Trump and HE is the only one actually fixing it?" HUSBAND: "Now you're getting it." WIFE: "Wow, I had no idea..."

Stephen A. Smith says he only took home ONE-THIRD of his annual income living in California. His ESPN salary alone is $20,000,000 a year. That means the government took over $13,300,000 in taxes. He now lives in Florida. SMITH: "I can't stand high taxes. And if y'all think I'm lying, federal income tax is nearly 40% for people in my range. And then on top of it all is an additional 13.6% in the state of California. And we ain't even getting the LA city tax, and we ain't getting the FICA, and Social Security and disability." "You walking home with less than 34% of your money messing around in California! I got a problem with that." "It's similar in New York. I got a problem with that. So because of that, I speak out against liberal policies that come to take your money." Here is what the tax breakdown looks like on a $20,000,000 salary: • Federal income tax (37% top rate): ~$7,360,000 • California income tax (13.3% top rate): ~$2,630,000 • California SDI payroll tax (1.2%, no cap): ~$240,000 • Medicare (2.35% for top earners): ~$470,000 • Social Security (capped): ~$11,000 TOTAL: Over $10,700,000 a year, before property taxes, sales taxes, and city business taxes. Florida state income tax: $0. That means Smith saves over $2,870,000 a year ($7,860 a day) on state income taxes alone. Sales tax is also 2.75% cheaper in Florida. No wonder he moved.

GOOOOD EVENING ORANGE COUNTY!!!!! #OrangeCounty / #California Tonight’s the night, SoCal. A deep partial lunar eclipse (96% of the Moon in Earth’s shadow) is unfolding this evening, August 27 into early August 28. It’s one of the best “almost blood moon” views we’ll get until 2029. The Moon rises around 7:17–7:18 p.m. PDT in the east-southeast, already starting to enter the darker umbral shadow (or just as it does). Greatest eclipse hits at 9:12–9:13 p.m. PDT with only a thin sliver left bright. The obvious partial phase wraps up around 10:51–10:52 p.m., and the faint penumbral shading ends just after midnight. The first image shows the Moon’s path through the penumbra and umbra with UTC times; the second shows global visibility (we’re on the “Moon Rising” side of the map, which is why it comes up already eclipsed here). Quick viewing guide for Southern California • Look southeast. You need a clear view toward the horizon early on because the Moon is very low when the partial phase begins (~2–3° altitude). Trees, buildings, or hills will block it. • No glasses needed. Lunar eclipses are safe to watch with the naked eye. Binoculars or a small telescope make the copper-red color and details pop, but they’re optional. • Best window: 8:15–10:00 p.m. By then the Moon is higher (~21° at maximum) and the red hue is most noticeable. • Weather: Skies look partly to mostly cloudy across much of LA/OC tonight with a slight chance of showers. Gaps are possible, check your local view and have a backup indoor livestream ready. • Photo tip: Phone night mode or a camera on a tripod works well. The Moon will look dramatic rising over the landscape if you have an open eastern view.

Karen is pandering to illegal street vendors who pay ZERO taxes, send their money out of our country, draining our economy and undermining the taxpaying legitimate restaurants who are going under by the hundreds year after year. This psycho mayor is destroying our city.

When I was 2 blocks away with my 8 year old in @santamonicacity today (@nickshirleyy happened to be a block away filming for something else), a deranged man tried to stab a @SantaMonicaPD officer, who shot and killed him. The Mayor @ctorosis responds with an investigation, not praise. The DSA-inspired city council in this city has destroyed the place, treating police like criminals, spending $1-2 MILLION per homeless person on ocean-adjacent luxury condos (free for life), immunity from criminal prosecution if they ACCEPT FREE HOUSING IN LIEU OF JAIL for homeless only, free drug needles/pipes (and ban on drug enforcement), and now tearing down city parking structures, ice skating rink & west coast’s largest public arts complex all for homeless & affordable housing for violent criminals & addicts. Santa Monica is the prime example of stage 4, metastatic DSA-style anti-police, pro-drug, pro-anarchy leadership. Let this place be a warning to the rest of the nation. The city should present this officer with a MEDAL as he could have saved my son and me and many others from getting stabbed by the same person.

🚨 California has officially passed AB 2624, aka “The Stop Nick Shirley Act”: The Senate and Assembly have passed the bill, and now it’s on the governor’s desk. California would rather protect fraudsters over law-abiding taxpayers. On August 26 be at the Capitol in Sacramento.

This is humiliating for Newsom. You can tell he never even considered the idea of being cordial with the President for the sake of helping Californians. Whitmer just revealed how petty and derelict a governor Gavin is. Think of how much we’ve suffered in CA because of this stupid mimbo putting petty politics ahead of our own wellbeing.
