Must be a Knudsen cottage cheese shortage in SoCal. Several times I visited @RalphsGrocery and @pavilions in Beverly Hills, WeHo, Century City, Olympic/Barrington and in Santa Monica. None on the shelves morning or afternoon. What's next - no toilet paper or sanitary wipes?

Sydney Sweeney votes in California! 😆 BRILLIANT ad by the Prop 39 campaign. Common sense is on the ballot in this election—and not just in the governor's race. YES on Voter ID!

Deliberate? Absolutely - a successful test in biological warfare (<-- for the lack of a better word). As for Trump, I don't think the two are related.
WHO BELIEVES COVID WAS DELIBERATELY STARTED TO STOP TRUMP IN 2020?

Year over year with electrical usage increasing only 6%, @LADWP bill went from $165 (summer 2025) to $272 (most recent bill). A 60%+ jump and my quality of life lin L.A. is worse than ever. Ya'll keep voting as you do. It will get worse. #FalsePromises @spencerpratt

Can someone please explain it to me like I’m 5 why people are more outraged that Elon built a car that actually flies than they are that Gavin Newsom’s California has spent $15.6 billion over nearly 18 years on a bullet train that still doesn’t move.

If you are displaying staff's salary and guilting customers for a 25% tip, I expect to see displayed the establishment's food cost for each meal and the corresponding menu price.
You're headed into a restaurant and see this on the door? What's your next move?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Why does everything feel fake? We have a Congress that won't pass something 83% people want. We have courts that release criminals faster than police can arrest them. We have schools that graduate kids who can’t read. We have colleges that charge $200K for degrees that don’t get you jobs. We have a non-profit system that profits from our tax dollars. We have a health care industry that profits from you staying sick. We have “representatives” who don’t represent us. We have “news” networks that report opinions and call them facts. We have an insurance industry that fights every single claim. None of it works the way they tell you it works. And deep down, everyone knows it. It just all feels so so fake…

Joe Biden doesn't remember four year of Joe Biden. Will we ever know who was in charge during his term?
I'm voting Red because I remember 4 years of Joe Biden.

Looking at my absentee ballot, past & current blue "demoncratic'' policies & thievery dictates to vote red. And those props...most asking for taxpayer money using misguided terminologies. If Bernie's or @GavinNewsom name is associated with a prop, you know what NOT to support.

I miss the classic comedy of Sid Caesar, Jonathan Winters and Don Rickles. But not so much after reading this post (this is what I voted for):

Actor David Spade raising awareness that a bill was introduced in California to audit where the $20+ billion dollars in missing homeless money went, it passed but then Gavin Newsom VETOED the bill to block the investigation Yes, this really happened. He blocked bills for an audit MULTIPLE TIMES Bipartisan bill AB 2903 (unanimous passed 72-0 in the Assembly, 40-0 in the Senate) would’ve forced annual public reports on where the money went Newsom vetoed it. Gavin Newsom also vetoed similar bills AB 2570 and AB 2093 “The same broader problem with people paying taxes in California — The homeless, they lose $20 billion, but they want more money for it. That's why people get tired of paying taxes and going, what are you doing? Gavin Newsom just vetoed a bill asking for an audit of where the money for homeless goes. He said, not a chance. You're not gonna see that. That's the problem.”

Metrolink fares increasing today by as much as 27%. Sales tax increased last week. Personal state income tax highest in the country (13.3%). Chew on that when you vote who will lead the city and state.

Read below out loud. Feel the pain. That's a lot of money and waste. It is why sales AND state income tax continues to rise.
Let's talk about California under Gavin Newsom. $20 BILLION paid out in fraudulent unemployment claims during the pandemic. $24 BILLION spent on homelessness in five years, and the state auditor found they never consistently tracked whether ANY of it worked. $267 MILLION billed to Medi-Cal by a hospice fraud ring that never provided a single service. This is what happens when nobody's watching the money. Newsom wants to be President. He can't even run California.

This should alarm every Californian. As of Oct. 1, Lancaster and Palmdale in my district now have the highest sales tax in the state: 11.75%. Families here are already paying $6+ for gas. We cannot keep absorbing tax hike after tax hike. California’s majority party continues to raise costs and then blames everyone else for the affordability crisis. nypost.com/2026/10/01/lifest…
