After a recent downpour caused severe damage and the collapse of several graves, our dedicated cemetery clean-up team was hard at work today. They performed emergency repairs, and thanks to their efforts, the graves have now been restored to their dignified condition.

We were delighted to welcome Ms Amanda Parker, the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, to Pleasington Cemetery. BHDG leader, Imran, gave the Lord-Lieutenant a brief tour, showed her the work being carried out by the cemetery team, and introduced her to our diverse volunteers.

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah (SWT), the BHDG Cemetery team have had a busy June. The clean-up team strimmed, tidied and maintained a total of 92 graves that were requested. Our volunteers give their valuable time and effort to make this possible, come rain or shine. 1/2

Despite limited resources, it's fantastic to see the level of care, attention and detail applied by our volunteers to make graves as presentable as possible for those visiting their loved ones.
