The Genocide Convention imposes a duty to prevent genocide where there is a serious, foreseeable risk. The whole point is prevention, not waiting for the crime to be completed, then arriving afterwards to inspect the scene, which is more than likely being sanatised.
“The issue is still under consideration…I’m not saying it is or isn’t at this point in time, that hasn’t yet been determined.” Andy Burnham’s response when asked on LBC whether there is a genocide taking place in Gaza.

Just finished watching Britain’s Gaza Secrets - Cameron, the Gov then & thereafter, utterly complicit & in breach of IHL. What an absolute stain on this Country. Disgraceful & sickening. Cameron put Israel before British lives - infuriatingly treacherous #C4Dispatches

If you bought tickets to ed Sheerans concert: They’re not allowing refunds- however banks are approving chargebacks due to " not getting what purchased" as in macklemore is not performing anymore. Get your money back. Donate it to Gaza instead.

Truly beautiful ❤️
Following the tragic news last week, Masjid-e-Quwwatul Islam on Stansfield Street, together with Benefit Mankind, has been going door-to-door sharing peace, love and compassion, and thanking our local community for their incredible support. ❤️ A special thank you to the local Vicar, the Imam, the students, mosque representatives and Morrisons Blackburn for kindly providing the gifts. 🌹 In difficult times, our community comes together. Different faiths, different backgrounds, one community. Together we are stronger. Together we are one. 🤝❤️

So suddenly OpenAI, Anthropic, XAI, and their leaders all suddenly about face and agree to slow the pace of AI development all on the same weekend…. Delaying IPOs and having OpenAI say they would “melt their GPUs to save humanity it it came to it” Something bad happened… There is no world in which everyone, including Elon, suddenly started to be worried about this on the same weekend. There was also a rumor that this week Google cracked recursive AI, which I doubt would trigger this reaction. Clearly an agent went rogue in a dangerous and malicious way, and it was something severe enough to spook everyone.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

Many British airports including Heathrow use some kind of Israeli software. I remember reading about this a few years ago.
2 hours and 35 minutes after the UK announced a ban on goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, NATS, the UK’s air traffic control provider, is experiencing a “technical issue” that's grounding all flights at the UK’s largest airports. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/09…

My statement on Israel's decision to ban me and 10 other British MPs from entry. "I have visited all parts of Palestine on several occasions, where I have witnessed the horrors of occupation, as well as the resilience and humanity of the Palestinian people. They are the ones who suffer from Israel's apartheid. It is their freedom which is egregiously curtailed, alongside thousands of Palestinian refugees who are denied the right of return. As the world wakes up to the genocide in Gaza, it is shocking that Israel continues to deny entry to UN investigators and international journalists. Israel doesn't want the world to see what it is doing - but we can never give up in our attempts to expose the truth. That is the real scandal. Israel’s genocide cannot go unpunished - and I will keep speaking up for peace, freedom and justice for the Palestinian people."

And just a reminder, you’re still paying the cost of the chaos created by Liz Truss.
And to think you were once a British Prime Minister??? Good riddance

The shift in the new Labour leadership's stance on Israel is a welcome start, however, let's not shy away from the facts. Israel stands accused of genocide. As signatory to the Genocide Convention the government has a duty to fulfil all measures to ensure it is not complicit.

For years, we were told that conflating Israel with British Jews was antisemitic. Now, that’s all the pro-Israel lot seem to do. The British government sanctioning terrorist Israeli settlers is not antisemitic.

So stunning and brave 🙄. Appalling decision by our Prime Minister, choosing to put posturing for his left wing MPs and Muslim voters ahead of Britain's national interests.

What were you sacked for again?
Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband are appeasing their left wing backbenchers with their latest actions and rhetoric against Israel. These measures are counter-productive to achieving peace and a two-state solution. While Labour is indulging in gesture politics, Hamas terrorists continue to violate the ceasefire and refuse to disarm while the PA continues to promote pay for slay. As the high holy days approach, the Jewish community in Britain are fearful that this rhetoric from Labour will fuel antisemitism. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

Love to see the British far right come to their senses about Israel 🤣
Following the intervention of Netanyahu's son, where he states that the Falkland Islands belong to Argentina, it is entirely legitimate to ask what the official Israeli Government position is on the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.
