Now we know why Azaan has nothing to spend on his own constituency. And he’s not the only one, the same questions goes to every MP. When MP’s can afford $10,000 watches at airport duty free while ordinary citizens struggle with the cost of living, something is seriously wrong with their priorities. For them, Parliament seems to be a ticket to personal luxury, not a responsibility to serve the people. They enjoy the privileges of power while the people who elected them are left waiting for even the basic things they deserve. Is this public service, or just personal benefit at the people’s expense?

Not just Muizzu. Anyone who comes to power under any political party will be a major loss for this country. if we continue with the same corrupt political culture. Maldives needs a change beyond party politics.

It’s concerning. Heard Underage 2 girls 14 years old. For that parents are to be blamed. Predators are out there, and as parents, we have to be alert. We need to teach our daughters how to stay safe, guide them properly, and make sure they know who they can trust. We can’t control everyone they meet, but we can do our best to protect them. What worries me even more is when people lose faith in the justice system because they feel these criminals aren’t being punished as they should be. When justice is delayed or offenders escape accountability, it puts the whole society at risk. We need stronger laws, proper enforcement, and a justice system that upholds our Islamic values. Our children deserve to grow up safely, not in fear of the people who might harm them. Parents have a duty to protect their children, but let’s be clear; the blame for abuse always lies with the abuser. We need to stop normalising these crimes and start taking the safety of our children seriously.

Dear @axanner , I would like to request that all MPs in Parliament place a donation box outside the Parliament building, since our MPs seem to be in far greater distress than the rest of us. 😏

From most of the people’s perspective, it is only wrong when it becomes rape? Otherwise, drugs, partying, and fornication are acceptable for both men and women? You cannot apply morality selectively. Consent distinguishes consensual sex from rape, but it does not automatically make fornication or drug use acceptable under Islamic values.

But the 22 year old woman involved in this case shouldn’t automatically be treated as innocent if she willingly participated in drug fueled parties and consensual sexual activities. If those allegations are true, she should be held accountable for her own choices, just like anyone else involved.

Even if MDP returns to power, don’t expect miracles. They’ll end up doing the same thing this government is doing. Different parties, same mentality. No party puts the people first. They only care about power, personal interests, and staying in control. people change governments, but the same old politics never changes.
