Semi-urgent MRI'S and CT scans (level 3-P3) should be done within 30 days to meet provincial benchmark.
An example of semi-ugent is possible cancer.
The reality is that British Columbians with possible cancer are waiting an average of 4-6 months for MRI'S in our large hospitals which are referral centers.
This information had to be obtained through FOI's.
To fix this healthcare system, this NDP government needs to not only collect the data but be transparent and accountable so that British Columbians get access to safe and timely care.
And we need to ensure that not only do we have enough frontline staff and equipment but that both are used to full capacity and not limited by global hospital budgets.

Oh so very sad to read this! John and I had some pretty fierce QP battles, but I will always be grateful for the respect he showed me as Opposition Leader and the kindness he showed our family when we lost Billy!
