๐ŸŒ IOE at the 6th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour (11-13 February) Child labour remains a global challenge โ€” progress grows where employers engage. The International Organisation of Employers will be at the 6th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour, taking place in Morocco, to highlight how businesses are moving beyond compliance and taking a proactive role in prevention through corporate governance, partnerships, and sustainable business models. As part of the conference, IOE will host an employersโ€™ side event moderated by Roberto Suรกrez Santos, IOE Secretary-General, focusing on employer-led initiatives from different regions and sectors. The discussion will showcase practical experiences โ€” including good practices recognised through the IOE Elimination of Child Labour Change Maker Award โ€” that address root causes, deliver impact on the ground, and can be replicated across regions. The session will also promote cross-regional exchange, South-South cooperation, and stronger partnerships between employers, governments and international organisations, reinforcing the role of business as a driver of systemic change. ๐Ÿ“ We look forward to engaging with partners and sharing solutions that work โ€” because ending child labour requires leadership, collaboration and action from all actors. Join us: raise your Red Card and share the message using #EndChildLabour. #EndChildLabour #VoiceOfBusiness #ResponsibleBusiness #SocialDialogue #SustainableSupplyChains
