Uhuru built 6,813 km of roads in FY2018/19 - 2021/22, while public debt increased by about Sh3.55 trillion in that period. Ruto's FY2022/23–2025/26, roads built fell to 2,584 km, while public debt increased by about Sh4.53 trillion. That is 62% fewer kilometres alongside a 28% larger increase in debt. Those blogger who keep asking "Where is our money?" Where are you?

Joackim Simuyu once said that there will be no rigging of elections and expect a conversation just like it happened with Raila Amolo Odinga!

The head of state has decided to embarrass himself publicly calling Sifuna Extortionist. @WilliamsRuto mzae you should know we Kenyans have been following the flow and committees closely. If you have nothing against Sifuna , focus on your 11 months in office coz home nayo unaenda!

We did not overpromise in our 2022 election manifesto on what we would achieve as an administration. We promised what we knew we would deliver.

Punchline👇 The Linda Mwananchi philosophy is about the software of the nation; uphold national values, cut government expenditure, seal corruption holes and entrench the rule of law. The movement doesn’t need to promise big capital projects in its first one hundred days.💯✅️✅

Everyone must have watched H.E. @edwinsifuna on TV last night, but for posterity, I must share a summary of his talking points last night, so that you can all hold him accountable for his words. 1. Referring to his tour of Bungoma as a homecoming is a misnomer, because a real homecoming would be in Nairobi, where he is elected. However, he acknowledges that he has his ancestral routes in Bungoma and remains forever grateful for the immense support shown last weekend and moving forward. 2. The whole country yearns for a new political order, and he is happy to be the face of that national desire. However, he remains conscious of the fact that the destiny of Linda Mwananchi and its election lineup will be decided as a collegiate matter with other luminaries. 3. Declaring a run for the presidency will be easier after meeting Kenyans in other counties and firming up the discussions. The Linda tours are opening up this space for the conversation and then the presidential candidacy will be declared. 4. He is not one to run away from the people, so if the call of the people will be to run for President, he will accept the massive honour of carrying the people’s aspirations to the ballot. There is no question of turning back from national desires. 5. The “first one hundred days” cliche about what an administration will do upon being elected doesn’t have to be about expenditure items requiring state resources. The Linda Mwananchi philosophy sees the possibility of this key promise being about the software of the nation; uphold national values, cut government expenditure, seal corruption holes and entrench the rule of law. The movement doesn’t need to promise big capital projects in its first one hundred days. 6. He is happy to have kept his promise to his boss, the Rt Hon Raila Odinga, to not be the one who wrecks ODM. The traders and sharks who took over ODM have chased the liberation warriors out of the party and done the wrecking themselves. 7. Fighting over ODM as the country enters the electoral cycle is no longer viable. There is need to get organised as a movement, launch another vessel and prepare supporters for the elections, rather than mourning over ODM. 8. After Ruto changed his mind over the efficacy of the new university funding model, the president confirmed that his decisions are not well thought and considered. Soon, he will also come back to Kenyans and confirm that SHA is not working, just like his entire government isn’t. Ruto must also admit that the housing levy is hurting Kenyan payslips and spreading poverty as he gets richer from supplying materials. 9. At the right time, the Linda Mwananchi movement will present a blueprint (manifesto) of what it intends to do to heal the socio-political and economic fabric of the nation. Technical experts will guide each item, so that the movement walks away from Ruto’s culture of a one-man-expert or where the president knows everything. 10. He will answer questions about the different sectors of the economy at a later date, after consultations with experts currently being mobilised to guide the agenda. 11. Jobs for young people is a conversation that we can no longer postpone, if we want to avert a crisis over youth unemployment. 12. All those who keep accusing him of having received money to impeach Gachagua should stop throwing this allegation at rallies and proceed to name exactly who gave out the money and how much. The cowardly behaviour of dropping accusations should stop. Name the sources of the money! 13. He is not attracted to grandiose displays, so those who think his house in the village should be a monstrous structure should proceed to build their own. It is possible to be in politics and stay modest, so he isn’t sold to the idea that every leader in the country must own a massive structure just because opponents think so. He is focusing on serving the people and not on amassing wealth.
