If you're not sure how to get started with 2FA or if it's felt overwhelming, Authy by @twilio is by far the best 2FA experience I've ever had. Your logins persist if you switch phones, and I just learned (thanks @benholmen!) that it also has a desktop app: authy.com/download/

btw, I recommend @Authy to first-time 2FA users because, well, after using others, it's definitely the best. A few have caught up with account backup / restore, but honestly, who wants to use the product catching up with the best?! :D

Excellent study on social engineering and SIM swapping attacks. Using text messages or phone calls for multifactor authentication is not recommended. Use an app (@authy) or token (@Yubico) instead. Even better, limit sharing the phone number tied to your SIM card (@MySudoApp).

A big shout out to @npmjs and @Authy without whom I wouldn't be able to so easily: - make changes to my package - republish - 2FA that publication - install update in another project which is really great when your library is currently churning ^_^
