Thank you for the warm welcome, dear @anneleen_vb! 🇧🇪🤝🏼🇦🇹 Europe needs a clear and consistent approach to asylum and migration, and a firm stance against political Islam. Only together, we will defend our free and liberal way of life. (BM | Photos: BKA/Brauneis)

(vdb)

Proud to have had you as guests, proud to have you as friends. Thank you for being with us at the opening of 🇦🇹 #Österreichhaus Brussels 🇪🇺 🇧🇪. PM @Bart_DeWever, PM @_CStocker, Ministers @BMeinl, @prevotmaxime, @claudiabauer_at, EC @magnusbrunner.

🇦🇹 Honoured to open the new Austria House in Brussels today, alongside both our Prime Ministers. I cannot remember a time when Belgium and Austria worked together as closely as we do now. On Ukraine, on Europe’s security, on the future of our Union, we keep finding ourselves on the same page. @BMeinl, @ClaudiaBauer_at, so much of what our two countries achieve together begins with a simple chat between people who respect each other. That, in the end, is what makes diplomacy work. An Austria House in the heart of Europe is exactly that: a bridge between our two countries, and a place where Austria feels at home in Brussels. To our Austrian friends: the door of this house is open, and so is ours. May there be many good conversations, many friendships, and many more years like the ones we’ve just had. @BelgiumMFA @AustriainBE
