I am so excited to announce that my podcast is here! I know I have had a lot of support from so many of you over the years since my Arrow review days. Many, many thanks and I hope you enjoy them!

I got to see Sense and Sensibility with family and friends tonight which was lovely. It was romantic and the Dashwood family were wonderful together. We all agreed that the dancing was not our favorite and Marianne’s hair was a little too wild.

I really enjoyed this week’s Star Trek. The fantasy world characters are just hilarious and delightful.

Another podcast episode is up. This time focusing on The Other Bennet Sister. #theotherbennetsister ruthmudge.com/worldofsoundtr…

This season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds has a lot of big swings. This last episode made me laugh throughout in the ridiculous moments of a soap opera while crying at the end with Captain Pike. Well done @ansonmount

I do love Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. I never knew I wanted their muppets in space but that was quite a laugh.

A few musings on the score for “The Odyssey” which turned into a larger conversation including Dune and Project Hail Mary. ruthmudge.com/worldofsoundtr…

We watched the Odyssey last night in IMAX. An amazing film but also heavy. Still processing it this morning. I enjoyed a lot of the music as well.

What does Arrow and the Other Bennet Sister have in common? A musical motif that appears everywhere.

Am I reading too much into the fact the viola is featured in the opening credits of #theotherbennetsister as the under appreciated middle instrument?

We just watched the first two episodes of “The Other Bennet Sister” and I am very excited to watch this over the next month or so.

Persuasion 2007 youtu.be/3IOh6LgZV80?si=UXJp… I’ve had a lot of questions about finding the music by Martin Phipps for Persuasion. I recorded the main love theme for my podcast a year ago and now releasing it separately on YouTube.

We are really enjoying watching the new version of the Count of Monte Cristo.

Another podcast episode on “How To Train Your Dragon” is now up. This one is all about the romance. Still accepting requests for the next episode (especially if it’s a period drama)! ruthmudge.com/worldofsoundtr…

I’ve been listening to all the Bridgerton soundtracks again and it’s fascinating to see the similarities and differences for each couple. I love that the Celeste is added for magic and fantasy in S4, especially when Benedict sees Sophie for the first time. Perfect addition.
