Huge win! Solabomi’s VAWA Green Card is APPROVED! After years of delays with another firm, our team stepped in with a Mandamus lawsuit, prepped her for her interview, and fixed past filing errors through an RFE response. Our entire team is beyond happy for Solabomi as this officially concludes such a long, tough journey for her! ❤️

He had pneumonia, lost 35 pounds and couldn’t walk. And when a judge finally ordered his release, they wouldn’t even give him a wheelchair. Unbelievable.
A 79-year-old Colorado pastor who lost 35 pounds and the strength to walk after being placed in immigration detention 13 months ago has been released by order of a federal magistrate judge. wapo.st/4Bk8KXH

Asked someone yesterday why they hadn’t filed a mandamus after 3 years of waiting: “I’m scared they’ll deny me for suing.” I get it. But suing doesn’t hand USCIS a reason to punish you. It just forces them to finally decide.

If you passed your CDL test with a work permit and the DMV still turned you down, you’re not crazy. A federal rule went into effect restricting non-domiciled CDLs strictly to H-2A, H-2B, and E-2 visas. Pending asylum, TPS, DACA? work permits for those don't qualify anymore.

Another AOS approved on the spot at the interview!! This case was stuck in USCIS limbo after the administration change, but after submitting an updated bona fide packet, our client finally got her interview and walked out approved!!

Checking your uscis portal every day just to see "case is being actively reviewed" for 6 months straight is a very specific type of mental workout lol. FYI, it usually just means your file is sitting in an officer's queue, not that someone's actively reading it today. hang in there!

"Administrative processing" is the most misunderstood phrase in immigration law. It can mean a routine check, or a case that goes quiet for months with no explanation and nobody to call.

A client sent us this photo from her oath ceremony, she's officially a U.S. citizen now! 🇺🇸 Timing's been heavy for a lot of people lately. But cases are still closing every day. Don't give up! Congrats to her. So proud.

Nobody's arguing for a right to break the law. But asking for asylum isn't illegal immigration. It's a legal process written into U.S. law. Being a sovereign nation also means following your own laws.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: There is no human right to illegal immigration, but there is a right to remain a sovereign nation. We want to remain a sovereign nation, and so should you.

Getting a "we have taken action on your case" email from USCIS and logging in to see ZERO updates is a unique kind of stress lol. Most of the time it just means an officer opened your file, ran a background check, or moved it to another folder internally.

Today at 6 PM PST is the hard deadline to join our mass lawsuit for delayed oath ceremonies. If you passed your N-400 interview 120+ days ago and USCIS is still ghosting you on your ceremony, this is your sign to stop waiting.
