The Guinness World Record team revisits the collection of toenail samples from Atlantic PATH participants (bit.ly/3ZXvc8o). In 2013, we received a record for 24,999 toenail samples. In total, we have 30,418 participants who donated toenails!! 1/2
Atlantic Canada has the highest rates of cancer and chronic disease. Toenails are important component in research on environmental exposure and disease risk.
