🎉We’re excited to announce that orientation for members of the Manitoba Tomorrow Project’s Participant Advisory Committee (PAC) has officially taken place! 🎉 (1/3)
This dedicated group of 16 volunteers is helping to shape the future of the MTP by giving a voice to the participant experience. This is an important step towards making sure participants remain at the heart of everything the MTP does. (2/3)
💬 Stay tuned for more updates from the PAC! Are you interested in providing input to the MTP? Email the MTP team at [email protected] – or leave a message at 1-855-588-0658 – and ask about the MTP Participant Feedback Group! (3/3)

👋Meet Travis! Dr. Travis Hrubeniuk is the Project Lead for the MTP. Travis’ PhD work focused on improving the effectiveness of exercise for individuals living with prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes. (1/4)
Travis’ favourite thing about his role at the MTP is working with the team, he says: “We’ve put together a fantastic and motivated group of individuals who have helped the MTP grow into the cohort it is today. I’m extremely excited to see what the future brings.” (3/4)
The Manitoba Tomorrow Project team is thrilled to take part in this year’s Challenge for Life in support of the @CancerCareMBFdn! This marks our 6th year participating in the event, which raises funds for life-changing cancer research and patient care in Manitoba. (1/2)
Our team have been hard at work fundraising and this Saturday, June 14th we will walk to make a difference for Manitobans facing cancer. Click here: bit.ly/4dcxQfz to learn more and check out our progress. We are proud to #takethechallenge (2/2).
📢Calling all Manitoba Tomorrow Project participants!
📨Keep an eye on your inbox for your invitation to be part of one of the largest dietary intake and physical activity data collection efforts in Canada: the HEALthy Eating and Supportive Environment (HEAL) study. (1/3)
🍓🏃♂️Why participate in HEAL? Because your daily habits matter. The HEAL study will help researchers explore how features of your environment – such as accessible grocery stores or safe places to walk – impact our ability to make healthy choices. (2/3)
🚭 Tomorrow is World No Tobacco Day, and this year’s campaign is unmasking the appeal and standing up for a healthier future! (1/4)
Past research has been crucial to helping us understand the real impacts of tobacco and the powerful benefits of quitting smoking. Large longitudinal research studies such as the MTP may help drive future discoveries. (3/4)
It can be difficult to quit, but there are supports to help you succeed! For resources, please visit: cancercare.mb.ca/screening/q… (4/4)
