#SouthAfrica losing £9 million every week due to the UK’s red list classification according to @WTTC. Where’s the science that backs it up? Time to take us off the red list. #SouthAfricaisTravelReady #AmberforAfrica #ReadySteadyTravel #OpenNotOpen

The UK’s travel ban from South Africa has no justification in science, is needlessly separating friends and family, while having a detrimental impact on SA-UK economic and social ties. @ukinsouthafrica @abtatravel @Tourism_gov_za #SouthAfricaisTravelReady #AmberforAfrica

Other countries have applied common sense lifting their travel restrictions on SA. There is no justification for maintaining the UK red list restrictions. @Tourism_g @ukinsouthafrica @abtatravelov_za #SouthAfricaisTravelReady #AmberforAfrica

Who doesn’t love biltong? Or rusks? Is padkos even padkos without Ouma’s classic guava smear? Drying and ageing as means of preserving and improving food has attuned the collective South African palate to the most sophisticated of umami flavours. bit.ly/3wJGXNK

The selfless commitment shown by Firefighters throughout today at the #CapeTownFire is commendable. Our thoughts are with these heroes as they continue to manage the situation. A big thank you also to all individuals playing their part in helping those affected by this crisis.
