Fall arrives in few hours 🍁 🍂
Saying goodbye to summer 👋
Here is a collection of my favorites shot during the summer. Which one do you like the most? Enjoy!

Great shot of the Pleiades by @AstroBackyard 👇👍
The Pleiades ✨
My latest picture of the 'seven sisters' includes almost 5 hours of exposure time through my telescope.
This stunning deep-sky object is rising higher into the eastern sky each night and is immediately recognizable...
If you can escape the perpetual glare of the city, of course.
It's one of the best astrophotography targets in the sky - and you can start capturing it this month!
Photo Details:
88 x 3 minutes (4.5 hours total exposure)
Stacked in DSS, Processed in PS

Captured November 2021 from a Bortle 3 location.

Hello Everyone, this comet is changing its appearance by the minute. I captured it again the morning of October 3. I used my Celestron RASA telescope, ZWO ASI533MC color camera, and an Antlia L-Filter from Starfront Observatories.
Andromeda galaxy through my telescope. In about 4-5 billion years, it will merge with our home galaxy into one massive elliptical galaxy “Milkomeda”. A cosmic dance that will reshape the night sky forever.

I am looking forward to getting back to astrophotography soon. Here is a shot of the Pacman nebula captured two years ago. What have you been imagining lately?

After two years of hard work, my book is officially published! 📖✨
That’s also why I’ve done very little in #astrophotography lately—the writing journey has been all-consuming. Grateful for the support along the way!

Missing astrophotography! Haven’t done any astrophotography for a long time because of lousy weather and busy work schedules. How is everyone doing?
Cannot believe Orion is up there already! Here is a shot form last year #Astrophotography #Orion #space #tuesdayvibe
“Red Giant”!
What smoke can do to our view!
How is everyone doing, have been busy with work and the weather has been bad. No astro images to report. Hope for clear skies in the fall🤞

Haven’t done/post any astro work for more than two months due to lousy weather and busy schedules, missing out the galaxy season. Hope you are all doing well!
Here is a repost of Bode’s and Cigar. Clear skies🤞

Congratulations to my friend @hr8799 for getting the apod with his beautiful shots of the eclipse 🍾👍👍👍👏👏👏
Start at the upper left above and you can follow the progress of April 8's total eclipse of the Sun in seven sharp, separate exposures. The image sequence was recorded with a telescope and camera located within the narrow path of totality as the Moon's shadow swept across Newport, Vermont, USA. At center is a spectacular view of the solar corona. The tenuous outer atmosphere of the Sun is only easily visible to the eye in clear dark skies during the total eclipse phase. Seen from Newport, the total phase for this solar eclipse lasted about 3 minutes and 26 seconds.

Which Comet is it? 🤔
Zooming in, the tri-color object in the middle must be a comet

Added more time on the Markarian’s Chain, which helped. Zoom in the middle bottom, there are many galaxies there. Amazing universe!
Happy weekend everyone!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

Project in progress: The Markarian’s Chain. Wish I had the JWST to see just how many galaxies there are in the region!
This was the data from one of the few clear nights at the beginning of the year. The weather has gone south since then🙁

Another shot of the Orion: with Redcat51 and ASI2600 mm under windy conditions. Waiting for clear skies to shoot the Barnard’s loop.
Happy weekend everyone!

Integration of 5s, 10s, and 30s exposures. Will add 60s when weather permits.
Happy Friday and weekend everyone!
Clear skies 🤞

Nor’easter 2024 ❄️ ⛄️…
This was shot a couple nights ago: my favorite, the Rosette Nebula 🌹enjoy!
The guiding “jerk” still there, but less an issue bz the shorter focal length of the Redcat51.

New data on Bode’s and Cigar Galaxy.
Very limited HaRGB integration with ASI2600mm pro. Needs more time. New semester starts next week. Enjoy and have a great weekend everyone! #Astrophotography #Space #FridayVibes #WeekenVibes
The new year is off to a good start. Got a couple of clear nights😁
With some adjustments, the guiding “jerk” got smaller, but still there. Here is a quick shot of the Pleiades. More targets to come. Hoping for more clear nights 🤞#Astrophotography #Space #NewYear2024
