Speaking on behalf of IHRNGO and ECPM(@AssoECPM), Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam(@iranhr) said Islamic Republic authorities use the death penalty as a tool of political repression to spread fear and deter protests. He condemned the lethal crackdown that killed thousands of protesters, warned of possible mass executions of detained protesters after summary trials, and urged urgent international action and accountability.
