🇸🇦 May Allāh aid Saudi Arabia (the Land of Tawhīd) against the Rāfidī Houthīs of Yemen: The eminent scholar, the Muftī of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (may Allāh preserve him), stated: “As for the believers, they never despair of receiving relief from Allāh, no matter how great the distress and hardship that befalls them. This is because of their knowledge of Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, and of His Names and Attributes, and their knowledge that His relief is near and that His mercy is close to His servants. Therefore, they do not despair of relief from Allāh, no matter how severe the calamities that befall them or how constricted their circumstances become. Rather, the more severe the affliction, the greater their hope in Allāh.” 📕 From "Iʿānat al-Mustafīd bi-Sharḥ Kitāb at-Tawḥīd", p. 428.

There is absolutely no justification for the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which killed innocent women, children, and pilgrims on their way to Makkah. What’s crazy is watching people attempt to justify the killing of innocent Muslims simply because of their hatred toward Saudi Arabia. Selective outrage at its finest! And the Houthis’ justification sounds no different from the excuses used by the Zionists when innocent Muslims are killed in Gaza: “We warned that we would attack, so the airport should have been closed.” Subhan Allah! Since when does issuing a warning justify attacking civilians? Innocent lives are innocent lives, regardless of who is responsible. Your hatred for Saudi Arabia should never blind you to the oppression of innocent Muslims.

Alḥamdulillāh, the carpet has now been installed in both prayer areas at Markaz ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān. In less than two months, the space has changed tremendously, and we’re getting closer to opening. With Phase Two fully funded and the major renovation work nearing completion, we’re now moving into Phase Three: the final setup needed to prepare the center for use. Our estimated Phase Three goal is $10,000, covering the wired sound system, minbar, indoor security cameras, ceiling fans, wall-mounted TVs, shoe and book storage, seating, basic office and networking equipment, and cleaning and safety supplies. The estimate also includes mounting and wiring materials, limited installation help, tax, delivery, and a small allowance for unexpected costs. This is where we turn a renovated space into a functioning markaz: a center in Tampa Bay that openly calls to the Qurʾān and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf al-Ṣāliḥ, provides clear and beneficial classes, and supports the daʿwah of Ahl al-Sunnah locally and across Central Florida. By Allāh’s permission, we’ve come a long way in a short time. Help us finish this final setup and bring the opening of the Markaz closer, in shāʾ Allāh. 📧 Zelle: markazibnaffan@gmail.com 💵 Cash App: cash.app/$MarkazUthmanFL 💳 PayPal: paypal.com/donate/?hosted_bu… Please donate for the sake of Allāh and share with others who may be able to help.

Do not follow the fashions of the non-Muslims and sinners: Imām At-Tirmidhī stated: Chapter: What has been narrated about the thigh being 'Awrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by Jarhad in the Masjid and his thigh was exposed, so he said: "Indeed the thigh is 'Awrah." (no. 2795, graded saheeh by Al-Albānī) At-Tirmindhi also said: Chapter: What has been narrated about covering the 'Awrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Cover your 'Awrah except from your wife or your bondswoman." Someone asked the Messenger (ﷺ): "O Prophet of Allah, what if one of us is alone?" He replied: "Allah has more right that you are shy in front of Him than the people." (no. 2794, graded hasan by Al-Albānī)

The Culture of Speed-Running Knowledge إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا “Indeed, We shall send down to you a heavy word.” The Prophet ﷺ received revelation over the span of 23 years. When it was revealed, if his camel was standing, it would kneel. On occasions, the weather would be extremely cold, yet when it was revealed, ʿĀʾishah said that he ﷺ would be sweating. Zayd b. Thābit said Allah sent revelation down upon His Messenger ﷺ while his thigh was resting upon mine, and it became so heavy upon me that I feared it would crush my thigh. Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sulamī said that the Companions would learn 10 verses and not go beyond them until they learned the knowledge and action within them, saying: “Thus, we learned both knowledge and action together.” (مسند أحمد 23482) Ibn ʿUmar took 4 years to learn al-Baqarah. (الطبقات الكبرى لابن سعد 4/123) Countless examples showing the patience, steady progress and diligence of the Salaf in seeking knowledge. It is not a light matter to be recited and forgotten in a few number of days. Knowledge is heavy and acquired through tadarruj: slowly, steadily, with understanding and application. This is an example of how performative pseudo-students are bred. Long lists of books studied with little to no grounding, retention and understanding. It cheapens knowledge and turns seeking knowledge into a race for titles captured. Racing through many major books in 12 days impresses only those who have never smelled the fragrance of knowledge. Yet another blunder in the list of blunders from this individual which only does more for his pretentious resume than anyone else.

QUESTION: To avoid fitnah, I read the books of the scholars who have passed away. The Salaf used to say: "Those alive are not safe from fitnah..." (vs. those who are dead) There is a HUGE problem with this misunderstanding. Please read about it here: bakkah.net/en/defending-hono…

Some people have erroneously claimed that the Quran's healing is specific to the heart only, and it does not heal physical illnesses or other general medical conditions. Yet, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسل) used to recite Quran over his sick family members.

This article presents 5 points explaining how a Muslim can practice humility. It also provides numerous practical examples of shaykh ʿAli ibn Nāṣir al-Faqīhī’s exhibition of this quality.
