It’s a wee narrow staircase to get up there, I wouldn’t take it if I were you
Ben Affleck says the "high-school bullying" of Tom Cruise's "Digger" will only lead to Hollywood studios making more "sh*tty" movies.
"Everybody wants to celebrate this bomb as if it’s the most exciting thing to happen. And you think like, it’s a pretty ambitious, interesting movie made by interesting people who have talent. Everybody wants to count the money, what it lost or whatever. To me, I just think, if you punish movies that take risks, guess what you're going to get? A bunch of sh*tty homogenized movies. You cannot do something interesting without taking a big swing. And that means you're going to sometimes look bad." (via Happy Sad Confused)

Brad Bird is a legend.
Iron Giant
Ratatouille
Incredibles
And now,
I can’t wait to see Ray Gunn
For the life of me I don’t remember what this was meant to be. I think I started out drawing Medieval Spawn and then got sidetracked
Sketch from the first few months I attempted drawing.

One of my favourite moments of Kevin Smith’s Comic Book Men was seeing Neal Adams (rip) throw shade at Marvel for this exact reason while praising DC

I hate this style of cover too. I was in my LCS and my eye was drawn to cover B assuming it was cover A and then I saw A and was like “…oh.”
I think James Harren’s Demon might end up being my favourite comic of the year and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re a Jack Kirby fan this is for you, if you’re a horror fan this is for you, dark fantasy, etc
If you have TASTE this is for you
I strongly recommend both, they lived up to what I wanted. The Demon especially felt like James Harren was channeling his inner Jack Kirby. Genuinely fantastic comics that made me feel like I was reading through some Bronze Age treasures

I don’t know that I agree with your logic here. Indy and Han are characters and Harrison Ford has made plenty of good movies and shows in older age.
This isn’t Cruise playing old Ethan Hunt, it’s him playing a completely unrelated character.

A harsh truth about AI is it’s allowed people who were never particularly inclined towards creative storytelling to just input the most random and nonsensical ideas and pretend it’s “just as good as Hollywood” or “better than anything Marvel or DC” but it’s just a patchwork of random thoughts and “what if” scenarios they had sitting on the toilet.
A lot of these people have never written so much as a short story in their free time but act like they were being gatekept from writing or art until Grok “democratised” the arts.

I’m a sucker for the Bronze Age, especially the Bronze Age handling of golden age characters if that makes sense?
I love golden age characters and plots more than I do the actual comics of the era, and it felt like writers like Roy Thomas, Kanigher and Wein nailed the GA heroes in books like All-Star Squadron.
