My statement to Verdinytt:
“I am glad to hear that, and I hope they will do the same with the other personal belongings that once belonged to Jews.
It is also important that museums around the world dedicated to Holocaust education are given priority when purchasing artifacts from World War II, so that these objects can be used to educate future generations and preserve historical memory.”

Today in Oslo, the auction house "Valkyrie Historical Auctions" is expected to hold an auction of a fragment of a Torah scroll that was looted by German SS soldiers during the Holocaust.
It is a parchment sheet from a Torah scroll that was desecrated, looted and defaced by the SS, and was even used as wrapping paper by SS soldiers.
At the same time, the Norwegian government is expected to cancel its financial support for visits by Norwegian students to extermination camps.

An Israeli passenger on the flydubai flight that landed in Saudi Arabia told me one pilot stabbed another as the aircraft began to plunge.
“I shouted at them to run and take control of the plane,” the passenger told me.
The passenger said Israelis seated at the front rushed to the cockpit, fought the attacker and removed him, allowing another pilot to take control.
An Israeli dentist treated the wounded pilot and saved his life, according to the passenger.
