Visualizing the Poet's Craft with David Levine and Sam Scheer. AP Literature students often have difficulty with the poetry question on the AP exam because they struggle to integrate a discussion of the structural and formal elements at work in the poem. This presentation will demonstrate how teachers can make the language of poetic analysis more accessible by using paintings as visual prompts.
