Your girl being considered a "sparring partner" is ten thousand times more homosoy than wanting to formally debate her.
Reminder to never ever *debate* your girl. You can (and should!) have lively disagreements about politics/society/culture with her, you can (and should!) both speak frankly, and you can (and should!) have a sparring partner in her.
What you absolutely must not do is push the big red button in your brain that says "dEbaTe". You then enter an entirely different psycho/social/emotional register of gotchas, facts & logic, speaking fast like Ben Shapiro, "This House Believes" etc.
Importantly, this is neither gender's fault. Men are (often) socialised into a weird non-cooperational debate mode where if you ask "source?" often enough you get to be the leader of your local high-school nerd team. Women are (often) socialised into an emotional panopticon where disagreement is seen as open hostility. Your job as 21st century men and women is to overcome this.
Crucially, the emotional subtext of the conversation should always be "we are on the same team". This is important because politics is "we are on opposing teams". So you both should make an effort to tune out propaganda and be two people sharing a safe, warm little corner in this mad mad world.

Yarvin, at FORUM, also weighed in on Nick Fuentes, comparing him to Isaiah Berlin's hedgehog, an image adapted from Archilochus's fragment on the fox and the hedgehog ("The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing.")
Fuentes, Yarvin said, "knows the great 'no.' He doesn't really know anything else, but he knows that his answer to what he's seeing is, 'No, this is shit'—and that's the thing that comes most naturally to kids."
He contrasted Fuentes with Michael Anton, former State Department director of policy planning, who had just spoken at FORUM.
Anton, he said, has a "very nuanced understanding of U.S. foreign policy... but does he know that it's all shit? He seems to be resisting that conclusion."
Yarvin said Fuentes is "a very talented communicator" but "not a philosopher, really, in his own right."
The "Vanceguard" Rises
At times, Vance’s keynote address on Day Two felt like the softest launch of a presidential campaign.
Midway through, he was interrupted by chants of “48.”
“We got to take care of business this November. Then we’ll worry about what comes next,” Vance told his fans in the crowd.
The vice president had other partisans in the vicinity.
The crowd at FORUM overlapped with regular attendees of the National Conservatism conferences. Vance has repeatedly addressed those gatherings of populist nationalists, led by Israeli political theorist Yoram Hazony.
“I didn’t poll them, but I think it’s fair to say that most FORUM attendees and many of the speakers are active members of the Vanceguard,” FORUM organizer Matthew Peterson told me.
Stalwart supporters of the vice president have adopted “Vanceguard,” a term popularized by Vance critic James Lindsay, as a badge of honor.
FORUM panelist Terry Schilling of the American Principles Project drew a parallel between Vance’s then-upcoming keynote address and Trump’s descent down the golden escalator at Trump Tower to announce his 2016 presidential bid.
Gabe Guidarini, a FORUM attendee and Ohio Republican, told me Vance’s opponents would be made up of “the old guard of the conservative movement"—people critical of his more economically populist posture.
On the ground in Dallas, however, many Republicans didn't seem committed to Vance in 2028.
Bryan Gravely, a Virginia Republican, told me he thinks the nomination will go to that state’s former governor, Glenn Youngkin—he stressed that he has never worked for Youngkin.
“I think he’s got the swag of Trump, but a little more presidential,” he said.
Al Williams, a Texas Republican in a cowboy hat, rattled off the contenders he sees as credible: Vance, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), and Secretary of State Marco Rubio: "It comes down to whoever can rally the party."
Rubio, who is widely perceived as a top potential candidate in 2028, has said that he is not currently considering a run.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who was in Dallas to fundraise for his allies, told me that Republicans “have a deep bench,” mentioning, among others, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Roy endorsed DeSantis during his 2024 run for president.
Chad Hall, another Texas Republican, said it is “too early to tell” if the vice president has a lock on the nomination, adding, “There’s a lot of other qualified candidates.”
At FORUM, political theorist Curtis Yarvin, who described the vice president as "a genuinely good person," sounded characteristically bearish about what Vance could achieve even if he makes it to the Oval Office.
"If Vance had been elected to replace a Democrat, he basically gets to blow everything up. But replacing Trump, it's not as clear as that," he told me.

BREAKING: Mass Shooting Plot Targeting Sri Venkateswara Temple in Aurora, Illinois, Foiled
A 19-year-old suspected white supremacist, Alexandros Paporakis, has been arrested for allegedly plotting a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship in Aurora, Illinois.
Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for two years and allegedly targeted Indians and South Asians.
Police recovered an AR-style rifle, ammunition and tactical gear.
A potentially devastating hate-driven attack may have been prevented.
Paporakis worked as a cashier at a Taco Bell in Arlington Heights for nearly seven months.
According to a co-worker who spoke to investigators, Paporakis regularly made racist remarks, particularly targeting Indians. He openly identified himself as a white supremacist and frequently spoke about Nazis and armed struggle.

from last night: DOJ/SDNY walked away from criminal case being brought against ex CIA analyst accused of secretly working for South Korean government and accepting luxury gifts in return. The analyst, Sue Mi Terry, was set to go on trial in just weeks. She is married to Washington Post columnist Max Boot. SDNY did not provide an explanation for why it took highly unusual move of walking away from a case. w/@SantulN nytimes.com/2026/10/13/nyreg…
American’s only frame of reference for leaders or great men are “pussy getters” and “famous athletes”. Abuse victims are prone to forming intense parasocial relationships, and hypersexual behaviors. In the true medical sense Americans are the raped.

All the analysis of Trump now is how he's big penis chad, normal heterosexual, etc. The macho chad archetype is not incredibly common in heads of state espically in Western politics. It shows how much the public sphere has degenerated even since 2016.
Genders wars stuff didn't actually start on rw twitter, Chad was from 4chan and Incel was mostly on forums, Chad was even originally about flaunting social convention.
The timeline has become a Celine novel everything is now about sexual despair and prowess.
It's obvious that a normie can totally ascent to Incel blackpill theory, without changing any of their political beliefs.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp: I told the Israeli government from the beginning, maximum violence to the people organizing violence, minimal violence to the people on the front end.
Andrew Ross Sorkin: Do you think that they lived up to that?
Karp: You know, you, you, you, I could tell you, I feel that if, somewhat ill-modestly, if people listen to me more actively in Germany, on migration, on Israel, on these issues, and on lots of other things, we'd have a better world
Sorkin: In other words, you don't think that they have done it as well as they should?
Karp: Well, you know, it's, well, I'll put it this way. In a world where people didn't have so much derangement syndrome, I would, would be a lot more critical. In this world, I think you have to compare them to what, the competence level of any other country. And you say, yeah, these things are very hard and brutal, and watching these things happen is very difficult. But, you know, yeah, it's a very hard world, because in the end, we are in a world where the, there really aren't high-integrity partners on any side of the debate.

Slowly coming around to the realization that of all the Orwellian tropes of the 20th century, “international nationalism” is the most appalling lie.
Imagine if George Washington was a Catholic, educated in Rome, funded by the Vatican, and only spoke to Martha in Italian. Patriot
Interesting historical fact I learned about today: Sun Yat-sen and his wife Soong Ching-ling, both legendary founding figures of modern China (Soong Ching-ling was Honorary Chairman of the PRC and Sun Yat-sen's portrait still goes up in Tiananmen Square on National Day), only spoke English to each other!
This is because she spoke Shanghainese and he spoke Cantonese, which are mutually unintelligible.
However they both spoke perfect English because they were both educated in English-speaking schools: Soong Ching-ling at Wesleyan College in Georgia, and Sun Yat-sen in Hawaii and in then-British Hong Kong.
In fact, funnily enough, when Soong Ching-ling - on her deathbed in 1981 - was told of the Politburo’s decision to admit her to the Communist Party, it was announced to her first in Mandarin (which she never mastered) and then again in English so she would understand (thepaper.cn/newsDetail_forwa…).
This all highlights how recent China’s linguistic unity is: it’s actually one of the country’s major achievements.
China has had "one script" since the Qin dynasty, but "one pronunciation" is a very recent achievement - people from different regions often couldn’t understand each other when they spoke until the past few decades.
To the point where even China’s "Father of the Nation" and "Mother of the Nation" couldn’t speak the national language to each other!

But the rightist argument against them as a brown shithole camel country only intensifies. See under: Hannah Arendt.
Time to let the East be the East and return to its natural function as a producer of oil, camel hair & Liveleak videos. Park a Merkava on the Kaaba sure who cares
The entire leftist argument against Israel as a "European settler state" collapses entirely when you learn 2/3 of their Jewish citizens moved from Middle Eastern countries and never set foot in Europe.
Ben Gvir's family for example comes from Iraq, and millions of other Mizrahim
And besides that, compare the average Ashkenazi to white Europeans and you'll realise quickly enough that they also are Levantines originally.
At least far right antisemites are logically consistent and don't pretend like Israeli Jews are genetically identical to Polish people. Meanwhile, leftist arguments are so retarded it's enough drive me mad.
