There were many special tributes to Hyron in the last 24 hours. Nothing comes close to a 1 minute tribute (by the crowd) exactly at the 5th minute (his jersey number), for 1 minute uninterrupted.
We have a special connection in this game. Thank you La Rochelle. You have shown the absolute best side of what we are about.

Five minutes in, a moment for Hyron.
La Rochelle are asking everyone at the ground who is able to stand and join a minute’s applause in tribute to Hyron Andrews.
For that minute, the rugby can wait. Two sets of supporters coming together to show that he is in their thoughts.
Some things reach far beyond the shirt you wear.

Well said Ros!
The comments are as expected. 🤦🏻♀️ @Lesego_P is an excellent presenter with many years experience at the Lions. She had a brain freeze, it was embarrassing, she moved on. We have all made mistakes, imagine if there was a camera filming yours?!

🇿🇦 FANIE DE VILLIERS TURNS 62 TODAY 🔥
Fanie de Villiers turns 62 today, and most South Africans still know him for one morning in Sydney in January 1994, when he took 6/43 to bowl Australia out for 111 and win a Test by five runs.
What fewer people know is what he has done since. His brother is deaf and so is his daughter, and the charity he founded, Hear, pays for cochlear implants for South Africans who cannot find the R500 000 an implant can cost.
He rode 2 600 km from Cape Town to Pretoria for R800 000 of it, and sat on top of a floodlight tower at Centurion for another R189 000.
