I'm pretty keen to see him at first drop. I suspect it could benefit the whole unit, and he wouldn't lose effectiveness.
Truly a specialist in tough runs under adversity. That was as good and precious as any previous @TembaBavuma century. Well played skip.
Youth brigade sparkles as SA’s big sides earn firm Euro foothold news24.com/sport/rugby/urc/y…
CONTINUED: Bristol Bears also enter Stormers clash in CT with only five starting survivors from last weekend's Prem against Saracens. Our own Sharks also quite second-string for their Challenge Cup trip to Lyon.
The Hyron Andrews tragedy now clouds it anyway. But, once again, difficult to get really excited about round 1 of Champs/Challenge Cups with several teams once again badly watering down their sides. Eg, Stade F begin at Loftus with just three of same starters in last Top14 game.

LIONS SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF STAR LOCK
With broken hearts, we mourn Hyron Andrews, a cherished member of our Lions family. Our thoughts are with Maiglin, Hendrix, Emerson and the entire Andrews family.
Rest in peace, Hyron. ❤️

Well said Ros!
The comments are as expected. 🤦🏻♀️ @Lesego_P is an excellent presenter with many years experience at the Lions. She had a brain freeze, it was embarrassing, she moved on. We have all made mistakes, imagine if there was a camera filming yours?!

You may be fancying a bit of bad light at godforsaken Kingsmead right now. Just as typically, you don't look like getting it today.

Not the greatest toss to have lost by SA in home conditions where you are fielding two spinners. But it is what it is, as Shukri would say.

During our last match of the season against Glamorgan, Dean Elgar was presented with his commemorative Essex County Cricket Club cap for his services to our county and cricket as a whole. 🧢
A man who had a phenomenal career across all formats, but one of the greats of modern first-class cricket:
🔹 284 matches
🔹 19,000+ runs
🔹 77 fifties & 57 centuries
🔹 High score of 268
🔹 41.90 average
Go well in retirement, Deano! 👏

As I point out in my URC piece today, great Bok predecessor Bakkies could never have matched Eben's game-tilting breakout intervention in Durban on Sat!

The breeze did not matter.
Their kicking game by scrum half, flyhalf and fullback was abysmal in both halves.
They did not give Ahmed a chance to control the game
They have many work-ons, but one thing to remember in defence of Stormers... that fierce breeze against them in first half went annoyingly more benign, it seemed, in the second.
